It's the smile that greets you when you walk through the door, and the thought of knowing you are seeing an old friend. Though county cycle is a relatively newer business in our small town of beamsville opening in 2012, they have nestled right into the culture embracing the people, the fabulous biking here, and a good cup of espresso. They have managed to spark a passion for 2 wheels amongst an entire community and beyond to the next towns. County Cycle is a fantastic shop to purchase all your biking needs, accessories, services, or just a quick espresso stop during your ride through the green belt. From beginners to professionals, the shop can serve all your needs! I purchased my first "real" bike here and it has been an investment I have never looked back on. My Rocky Mountain hybrid is my baby and what has helped me develop a deep love for riding the roads on 2 wheels. The team at county has always helped me get the gear I need, transition to clips, a safer helmet, yearly service tune ups, and always a good conversation. Nick and his staff are the bomb! County Cycle will continue to be my bike shop destination! A gem on the map in niagara region and the wholesome bike experience everyone should have!

I ordered yesterday online and went for Curb Side pick up as advertised, as even advertised on THIS…read morepage. They didn't have it, I called three numbers I found on their website to tell them I'm there. I finally had to go to the door and shout to the employees who remained at the front of the store rather than coming to speak to me. I had a mask on. I couldn't hear them so I finally just shouted "can you pls just bring it to me? I ordered curbside pick up and it's paid for"they made me feel like I was unreasonable for asking for what they advertised during a pandemic. I have heart failure and I caregive my 90 yr old mother. Weed is nice but it's not a risk I'm ready to take. I spent a few hundred $$ there, you'd think you'd want to keep a customer that wants to shop local and will come to you instead of getting delivery that the shop pays for. I sent a msg to them asking them to remove the Curbside Pickup claims, no response, still advertised EVERYWHERE.

Since writing our intial review, about our positive experience buying, we have had multiple issues that have been not resolved/poorly resolved by Outdoor Travel. These are the most recent..... -Within a year, our flush "leaked" and flooded our trailer. This was the second time we used the flush to clean the black tank. They "fixed" it, only to find that it was still leaking when we tried to use it again. We just decided we weren't going to deal with it and have not used it since. No cost for them to "repair" it, but we recieved a $200 bill almost 7 months later, when they told us this was actually not covered. -seals on our slide out - again within a year, these starting falling off. We took it in (the same time as above) and they "fixed" it by putting staples in the seal. We were not happy with this fix, but I called Aspen and they said this was their recommendation. Again no cost at pick-up, but again we recieved a bill 7 months later, another $200 for staples. - back window was very hard to open - again within the year. We took it in (the same time as above) and they "fixed" it by bending it? It still sticks......Again no cost at pick-up, but again we recieved a bill 7 months later, another $100. So total for this bill, when we were told no cost at pick-up in May (we received 7 months later...even though we have been there a couple times since and they did not mention) was $600 and they put some staples in, pushed the window in, and fixed one fitting on the flush and now it leaks somewhere else...... Again, these are only some of the issues we have had......I would think twice about buying from Outdoor Travel.

I could've set a banana on my counter and got that for free. I call and speak to management - she says it's bc of the temperature ?? And when they're "too hot in the reptile room they grow wings and fly some of them". Like huh?? SoI try to explain I'm very experienced here - I'm retired but used to be very big in the reptile industry and bred thousands of my own fruit flies - and said I'm sorry but you're wrong. flightless HYdei HAVE wings and are genetically predisposed to not flying. It's a GENE. I told her yours are tainted with regular flying fruit Flies. Her answer - I'm not going to argue with you, you can just give them back. Then she repeats the same answer of why I have "some" flying around. They're ALL flying. I explained the gas would be more to drive there and return them, that I was now more concerned over the bad info she was pushing considering. She repeated the same untrue info on flightless fruit fly genetics. ?? Then she kept adding I'm not going to argue. My only concern for posting this is - what else do these workers push as qualified knowledgeable info to customers that is completely wrong?? It's a simple product and issue but her info on this is incorrect. I ran a hot professional breeding facility for 18 years. I breed fruit flies like crazy. I'm concerned that employees there are acting like they know when they don't and it'll hurt customers looking
