I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to my Vesper Martini, and they nailed it here. I usually find modern Vespers too bitter when bartenders use Cocchi, but Sidecar uses Lillet Blanc, which keeps the profile elegant and perfectly balanced with the gin's botanicals. Using Lillet and executing it with that level of gourmet precision tells you everything you need to know about the bar program. What I appreciated most was the mellow, "grown-up" vibe. The house-controlled music stays at a coffee-house volume, making it the perfect spot for actual, laid-back conversation. It's a refined environment where the "riff-raff" is essentially priced out, leaving you with a sophisticated crowd that actually knows how to appreciate a drink. If you want a masterfully crafted cocktail without the chaos, this is the spot.

I ordered the Havana Dipper : a Cuban type sandwich with chicken, ham red peppers served with a spicy mustard aioli dip.. it was FANTASTIC, one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.. Recommend 100%.. my wife had the Mediterranean Salad, she loved it nut would suggest some Feta cheese and less olives, but she says it was very tasty. We plan on coming back soon

We want to return with friends for a double date night! Kelsey, our server, was super friendly and helpful in making a recommendation. Our drink arrived quickly, as did the side dishes we ordered. I got the pasta salad. It's a smaller portion than I would like, but it is a side dish. I could actually enjoy this pasta salad as a main course, so I may order a second plate. My dining companion ordered the Cobb salad with chicken. It came with a delicious slice of their rosemary bread. There is a very extensive line of charcuterie boards on the menu. One item that caught our attention is the cheesecake flight with 4 varieties of toppings!! The drink menu is also extensive. My companion ordered the chocolate covered cherry vodka drink. It's very tasty!! I recommend The Copper Still. We will return!

Lakeside Hideout is well worth the drive and we will definitely be back! Hopefully next time we can sit outside on the swing seats and play corn hole. Great job Rilyn!

The sandwiches came with a choice of a side. My friend went with fries and I selected coleslaw. (Additional choices of sides included charred broccoli, sweet potato fries, and others that I don't remember.) The portions were extremely generous and delicious. Check out the pictures below! Eating in the front area...especially in the open area is really unpleasant. It's loud. The TV's are loud. You can't talk and enjoy the conversation. On this trip...we dinned in the "back" room. What a difference! The noise level was minimal. We asked the waitress to turn down the volume and she did. This allowed us to enjoy our conversation and dinner. Great job done by our waitress Zhoee. She was patient, professional, friendly and very helpful to the older members of our party. She was responsive to the loud speakers we were asked to turn them down. Zhoee kept the refills coming while serving us well!! We started started with the Cuban quesadillas. This is really a MUST try. The meat is very flavorful. The pickled onions and sauce inside the quesadilla are delicious!! I particularly like the house salads. They are very fresh and attractive. Plenty of side veggies and crunchy/boldly garlic flavored croutons. I tried the Thai ginger dressing this time. I loved the mild flavors. You could pick up the hints of peanut sauce and ginger coming through. It is moderate in consistency and delicious! I've never had their Mac & cheese so we gave it a try. A nice thick and creamy white cheese sauce. The cavatappi style noodles were perfectly cooked! The cheese stuck to the noodles beautifully. The cheese sauce was so tasty that you almost wanted to like the bowl. On this trip I went with the wings and dry rub seasoning. Nothing else on the menu appealed to me that visit. I got six small to medium sized wings in this order. The insides were fully white without being tough or dry. The skin was a bit crunchy so I'm sure they were fried. The dry rub has a mild traditional BBQ flavor. The wings were really coated in dry rub. I don't think there was a speck of skin showing through. At times I felt like I was eating more dry rub than chicken. The rub comes off very salty - which I liked. It didn't have an after taste burn - which I also liked. The BBQ was pleasant and flavorful to taste. The volume of rub was just a bit overwhelming - at least to me.

The Draft Room held a "Dark as Night" event which they featured some rare, highly rated stouts. They listed the stouts and after doing some review research, I knew I couldn't miss out! The bar has seating at the bar, small tables near the bar, and bigger tables/booth near the front of the bar. There is a small narrow outside patio, which looked mainly for smoking. I'm not sure if there are tables out there maybe when the weather is nice. The Draft Room had a ton of taps and offered flights, full beer pours, and even half beer pours for all their beers. I love this idea because sometimes I would rather have a smaller portion to try more things! The bartenders were fast and efficient. Since my husband and I both opted to do a flight, they handed us a board with four holes for the flight glasses, and a piece of chalk. The drafts are listed by number, and posted on each side of the bar. We wrote the number of the drafts we wanted to try on the chalk board paint next to each of the drink holes. What a cool idea! There was a cooler of take home beers on the side of the bar. I saw multiple people coming in and buying beer from the cooler and leaving. They have a great selection! They don't have their own food, so you can bring your own. The bar is right next to Jimmy John's and also Pasquale's! We will definitely be back!
