It's a discount store that has everything but not the discount store feel like a pound or 99p store. There was so much stuff at very good prices. I bought some Christmas cards (2.00), a couple 2015 pocket diaries (1.50 and 2.00), a big pack of antibacteria wipes (.50!!), a pack of 3 toothbrushes (.74!!!) and a lot of other stuff and hardly spent anything. Actually the receipt says 14 items for just over 15 quid. Check out this store or even another one in another city since it appears to be a chain store.

Typical convenience store, good layout though with wide aisles. Very good fruit and vegetables section at very competitive prices. Other goods are priced at normal type prices for a local 'corner' shop. Staff usually very helpful. National lottery can be bought here as well as paypoint to pay bills and top up facilities for utilities as well as mobile phones. Open 7am to 11pm, papers and magazines on sale as well as cards. Licenced so sells quite a range of alcohol again usually with specials on promotion. Large range of goods. Very useful cash machine which does not charge for withdrawals. Trouble is it is often out of order, probably because it is the only 'free' machine in the immediate area, which is predominately a large housing area.

The main downside that I have found is that the floor is very slippy on the ground floor, so if you don't have very grippy shoes you could easily slip over, or if it got wet. Nicely laid out, with all the usual Debenhams stuff. There is a cafe on the top floor, with comfy seating, but it is quite small and seems to be quite expensive too. It's ok though, although queues always seem long!

This is a great place to go if you are looking for a lovely gift - nice quality gifts, candles, jewellery, handbags, cosmetics and so on, even some furniture items such as sofas and rugs. It is fairly expensive so not for everyday, at least not for the likes of me! I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

The disco lights are cheaper than the equivalent systems on ebay, and are better quality (for example, metal cases rather plastic casings). I've bought quite a few disco lighting units from Maplin, and although quite a few of them have been supplied with one blown bulb, there have been no problems with getting replacement bulbs free of charge. I would happily recommend this shop to anyone, as I have had no problems with the goods or after sales service.
