After doing some research online we realized that it was in fact just a washer and that there was no drier, so I hopped on Yelp and found this place. We hopped in an uber with a bag of wet clothes and threw our load in a dryer. (Bring your own coins as someone warned.) Just next door is a cute little cafe where we grabbed a coffee and waited.
