    tasty Yaki soba!!!

New nice maintained food trailer in Randy's Huli Huli Chicken lot. Husband & wife working. Courteous & patient lady taking orders& man working the kitchen with her. Lot or variety & vegan dishes included. Had the Beef & rice with pickled vegetables. Served Japanese using prime beef , with or without rice.Excellent dish & tasty! Yakisoba served in a box , excellent dish & well made. California roll has 8 pieces and accompany those dishes very well.A good Stop ! Check their days & hours of operation. Good food!

Hubby and I both got tastie dishes with pork. Yakisoba was just the right amount for me but if you are really hungry you may order an additional item. Shave ice came with homemade syrups such as mango, strawberry, blueberries, lychee, plus sweet condensed milk. The shaved ice was large and the mango syrup was thick and flavorful. Lunch was 11 and the shave ice was only 5-great food for a great price!

Some of the best quick serve Japanese food I've had, period. Very simple menu, so don't expect the frills and thrills, but everything was made super fresh to order. I got the pork katsu curry which was solid, but the real star was the ahi katsu. Lightly breaded with a firm but meaty fish. The wasabi mayo it came with was the cherry on top, not the mention the fresh veggie sides. Also got the tempura shrimp and veggies which were definitely hand breaded and fried to order, not flash frozen and heated up. 10/10 recommend, worth the drive south.

Got the ginger pork, katsu, fried chicken and spam musubi. All amazing food and very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Went for the taiyaki and spam musubi but they were out. Instead, we had the Cali rolls, french fries and shave ice! Great price for the quality. Idk why the fries were so good and savory - highly recommend THEM!!! My friend swears it's the best shave ice she's had - and she's had A LOT.

Fun food truck with yummy, fresh cuisine. Everything we've had here is so good! Get to it sooner than later because they are so good they sometimes run out of items.

***(at least for the month of May) TAIYAKI and shave ice are only available on the weekends** huge bummer to learn that when we got there as I hadn't seen this posted anywhere. This is a food truck up in coffee country so to speak, we tried it out for lunch while out doing the coffee tours. Note there's no inside, but they have a few picnic benches to eat at. I highly highly recommend getting the curry dish, my husband got the curry katsu and I kept trying to steal a bite. I ordered the fried chicken dish, it was perfectly breaded/cooked and was tasty, but I do wish it had maybe a sauce or something that came on top.

Quintessential Hawaiian food truck experience. Great Japanese food in an outdoor setting with a great view. Wonderful proprietors. Bonus- there are a couple of other vendors in the parking lot with homegrown produce and beautiful batik.

O'z Kitchen is a wonderful place to grab a bite! The food is reasonably priced and delicious. We love coming here to eat often. The owners are very kind and provide the best service. It's no wonder why whenever we go it is always busy & there are always lots of cars parked. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food this is the spot. There's also a small tented area with picnic benches to eat if not taking the food out. The area is clean and well maintained. Highly recommend

This spot hasn't been very busy dues to Covid. But now that we have opened up, it's back! Nice to see it bustling again. The food here is scrumptious with local Japanese favorites. The English menu threw me off for a moment as I am pretty used to the Japanese names for the food. Today we had the chicken and egg on rice (Oyako-don) and the Fried Chicken (Kara-age). Both come with rice, a tangy vegetable and a small scope of mash with peas. Yum.... The place was busking so we ate in our car. Otherwise, there are a few picnic tables and chairs under a tarp. The bentos are not huge but just right and it leaves space to try the Japanese deserts. Try the matcha shave ice. It's very refreshing! We had the ice macha (green tea) which was just as good! Will be back again.

Drove by here after visiting two step. You'll know you drove by O'z cause you drive by a massive Japanese flag on the side of the road. I ordered the Ginger Pork which was a more simple Shyoga Yaki. Very homey, very well seasoned, and the pork was so succulent. Very impressive for food truck food, and would also be excellent if it were a brick and mortar restaurant. Glad I tried this! 5/5. If you ever drive by O'z please support their business! Large beef don, shave ice, iced matcha tea

It's not often you find a delicious spot that ALSO has very reasonable prices AND great service!! O'z kitchen was an incredible place to stop at after hiking up from the Captain Cook monument. For 2 hungry people we shared the large beef bowl (tender well marinated thin beef with lots of rice, pickle ginger, onion), a huge shave ice with matcha and mango with condensed milk (it even had real mango!!!), and an iced green tea (so creamy and refreshing). This whole meal was less than $20!! They have a large tented area with picnic tables to eat. Would definitely return and recommend to others as everything was made to order, delicious, and so reasonably priced. Thank you for an ono meal and great service!!

California roll was ok. Spam was terrible.

We shared the 3 meat plate and still had leftovers. It looked and smelled so good we grabbed a blanket and ate on the grassy area next to the parking lot. Also got the pancit and a couple packs of suman (rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves) They reminded us of the suman in the Philippines - so yummy! Service was friendly and efficient. The sauce was tasty, though didn't have any of the pineapple flavor that some Huli Huli chicken has and overall the meat was a bit bland. If you just get a half chicken, they put it in a plastic bag so very hard to eat, especially since it is piping hot. Hot food in a plastic bag is also not a good idea as the plasticizers can leach into the food and none of us need more microplastics in our food! If you can plan ahead, bring your own plate and a knife and fork instead. You will also need to take it somewhere to eat if you want to site down, or like we and many others did, eat it off of your tailgate or hood of your car.
