What they sell @ O! Taho
    Daisy Y.

I came here upon recommendation of a fellow Yelper who swore that the Filipino version of tofu pudding would rock my world. Well... this is why my mom always lectures me on going somewhere based on someone else's opinion. My Filipina friend warned me beforehand that it was really nothing special, but nevertheless, I decided to trust a Yelper. So the taho is a bit firmer than the Chinese tofu pudding version, and because it's swimming in syrup and pearls, it has no flavor to itself whatsoever. I wasn't a huge fan of it, mainly because it's hard getting an even distribution of taho/ syrup/ pearl through a straw. This might've been better served in a small bowl. As for the halo-halo, I've had better. It was too much ice and not enough toppings.

I grew up in the Philippines for the early years of my life and so I grew up with taho. I have wonderful memories of the people selling taho on the streets and my parents buying us a couple of cups. Delicious! I'm so happy Vancouver had a specialized place just for taho. It was DELIGHTFUL! We all got the cold version, which was refreshing on a very hot day. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. I ended up ordering a 4L amount of taho for my family and it was warm (on purpose) and it stayed warm until our party a couple of hours afterwards. It was delicious! It was also very affordable considering the sheer amount you get. Service was great! COVID wise, there's hand sanitizer and a barrier between you and the cashier. It seems like it's very much a family run shop which is great. They do recommend you preorder your 4L taho at least an hour before though.

Since I was close by, I ran into this small Philippine dessert spot that served Taho. Taho consists of hot soft & silky tofu which comes with a brown sugar topping and something of a boba pearls. Very delicious with a tasty kick. This small dessert was only $5.00 and it is very much worth the value. This is very similar to other Asian places that served this type of item The only that that I didn't like about this place was it was served in a plastic takeout bowl which is not to healthy for since the food item was hot and served into plastic. Perhaps this establishment should be more environmentally friendly and used glass/ceramic bowls. The lady working there was quite friendly and explained and assisted us in the order. Street parking is very easy to find and Is close to other neighbouring businesses. Could be a challenge to find during busier hours.

    BEST taho outside Philippines!

Wow! This is the best taho I've had outside Philippines! It's simple and may be eaten for breakfast, afternoon snack, or heck for dessert. Their dining area is small. There is no room for a large group. They make their taho from scratch with small sized tapioca pearls and simple syrup. I was truly amazed it wasn't that sweet and the sugar didn't taste burnt unlike what they serve at Chow King in Vegas. I was also happy that their syrup was not gingered flavor like some Chinese restaurants does. I ordered my taho hot and it's truly an amazing treat! Its consistency is super silky, creamy, thick, and smooth like no other. I also tried their Mais and Saba Con Yelo but their taho tops both! When in Vancouver this is a must stop if you're deprived of superb taho in years! It's such a close drive to Granville Island and the famous Stanley Park. Thank you for an awesome taho (soya pudding)! O! Taho, you've earned my 5 stars!

Just like being back home. Yummy taho perfectly sweetened. Serve warm or cold. I prefer warm.

Truly amazing taho - always very fresh, but be sure to order in advance cause everything is made fresh. Compared to the place in Richmond this place you'll find it still fresh the next day and doesn't get watery. Worth trying, is amazing here!

The todu is so creamy and smooth. The sugar syrup is thick with a great caramel sauce! It's a light refreshing dessert I like cold.

They even make their own sauces that are bottled and you can bring home. They seemed to be set up for take out and catering. But they do have seating for about 20-25 people. We ordered: BBQ Pork Combo meal $10.50 Chicken Inasal Combo meal $10.50 both with Garlic - Annatto Rice +$.75 each and we added pork spring rolls $4 The combo meals are tasty and filling. With a slight char on the BBQ pork which is what I enjoy when having skewers. Honestly the garlic- annato rice wasn't really worth it. I personally couldn't taste it over the sauce on either the BBQ pork or the chicken Inasal. And would have been happy with just regular rice. The lumpiang was meaty and everything I look for in a crispy spring roll. The dessert options area also great. Not sure if its seasonal but they had a slice of coconut (buko) pie in their fridge. Whole buko pie need to be per-ordered and picked up on the weekend. They also have leche flan and ube cheesecake for a sweet treat. Over all a great comforting small business with friendly staff and a meal under $12. How can you go wrong? Give Hapag Ihaw-Ihaw a try if you're in the area.

New Filipino gig in lower mainland, small place approximately houses 15 heads the whole eatery…read more Mostly Filipino customers lining up. I went here with a friend to try, well not bad actually, the carrying product is Lechong Cebu,a rosted pork. There are only few dishes in the menu, the server claimed they are coming soon. they also do catering service thats what the waitor told us. we wish to have a bulalo its a beef soup but sold out that day, so since we were already here and our cravings for this day is Filipino cuisine we ordered other availble dishes. First one is the pork sisig, it was good,we both dont eat liver so we asked the server to exclude it.oh how i missed home(Philippines) on first bite of the sisig,it was delish, the flavor of the spices, the lemon and the egg while it was smoking hot on a sizzling plate, very good. we ordered appetizer includes 2 Pork bbq, 2 feep fried spring rolls(lumpiang shanghai),and 3 pcs of chicken wings well i would say they were ordinary taste,we also got the beef caldereta,hmmmmm....another ordinary taste.plus we had the garlic rice and hot water with lemon. I am not sure if the dishes were pre-cooked. We havent try the carrying dish which is the lechon Cebu, for sure if we will come back thats the one we will going to order. Very small place, crews are bi-lingual and very friendly, you know friendliness is one of the best trait of Filipinos. They also sell some chicken skin chicharon and ube pandesal. Pricing is just okay, you pay for what you wil get. Theres no TV, but theres music playing while we were there.Wash room is available.(Needs a lot of make over and improvement with the interior design.) If am not mistaken this place is a bubble tea gig before,As per friends news it was sold. Wifi now is all over the city so i dont think that would be an issue. Parking is metered one unless you wish to park in some residential area and you will just do some waking...sometimes serious walking because it can be far. Most clients that day came for pick up orders..a lot of them so i feel that this place has a huge potential to bloom. Noise level is average and nothing i can say on the interior design because theres nothing at all, like i said it"s pretty new place. Good for small group and kids friendly.
