Only to realize that their pump station are not prepaid like other places, so it does not stop at the prepaid amount. I had budget for the week and this threw me off. To add insult to injury, the staffs knowing I had prepaid give me a very nasty behavior. I felt like an irresponsible individual that night. I had to call the police so I could leave and bring the rest of the payment the next day. So unless you have an unlimited budget for fuel, my advice is do not stop by this place. There is black mold everywhere, nothing has been cleaned, the grills where they prepare food is never cleaned and there is spills and stains everywhere. I've stopped into this speedway many times on my way through Mound, MN and every time I've stopped in I've felt like I need a bath. I'll save you from the photos but the 5 times I've been here the bathrooms have never had soap, there is E. coli rings around outside and inside of the toilets. The layer of pee on the toilet and the floor is so thick if you need to use the bathroom you have no choice but to walk on it and deal with the strong ammonia smell. God forbid attempting to sit on that feeces and blood stained toilet: there is so much rust, rot, mold and roaches visible it's hard to believe this place is still open! LET ALONE SERVING FOOD!! I hardly ever write a bad review but I couldn't stand going in here anymore. This place needs to be shut down and remodeled completely. It's beyond a health hazard at this point.

CAR WASH REVIEW In my opinion, all gas stations are…read morebasically the same unless you're going to a nice one! The car wash is 10 out of 10 . You are greeted with someone who offers you a cleaning towel for the inside of your car as they guide you into the car wash. They also do a really good job of pre-washing and getting in all the areas that don't normally get touched . For example, the trunk, especially the glass towards the top of the car molding. This car wash the car pushes through each step and it goes extremely fast ! That's probably the best holiday car wash I've ever been to! The only thing is that you don't get to dry your car as long, but that is never perfect so no complaints there ! Overall, this is a great location and it moves very fast. If there was a line of five people it probably would only take you six minutes wait.

Staff is accommodating and nice and always happy to see you next time. One note about leaving, if you are going west, certain times of the day make it quite difficult to pull out on to 12. It may be worth taking the road behind the store and heading to one of the intersections with a traffic light.

They have ice cream (ice cream truck- individually packed options) energy drinks, soda, chips, coffee, fresh donuts (delivered daily), candy, greeting cards, and so much more. They also have a microwave, which is nice if you buy a packaged breakfast sandwich or something that needs to be warmed up. It's a small store but they have A LOT! Prices are the same as shopping at any other corner store or gas station. I love that they are open early (usually around 630). The store is always clean and organized. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just outside of the store they have seating via wooden table and chairs or just downstairs couches, more tables and chairs. They prefer you use cash but they do accept cards.

Their prices can be a little high at times, but I chop it up to the convenience of having a convenience store within our work building and not having to run up the block to Target, since they relocated Walgreens down a few blocks.

The staff is always genuinely friendly, the store is clean and the gas is ALWAYS about $0.20 cheaper. Not only is it cheaper than 95% of stores in the metro (I'll get to that in a second) but it's high quality fuel. I get 30-50 more miles per tank consistently. Back to the pricing: I live in Minneapolis. 30 minutes away. My husband works five minutes from Kochs Korner. I am disabled and on a fixed income so I really have to think about my spending. I will typically time out my necessary trips to Loretto for when I'm low on fuel so I can take advantage of the savings. I can't fathom how many stations I pass on the 25 mile trip but I ALWAYS look up gas along my route to find the cheapest option and it's never fails that Kochs Korner wins.
