Do NOT come here. I came here on a Saturday evening and came in behind two men who were so alone who got in no problem. There was plenty of space in the bar as fronts are open to see inside and outside. After the two men who alone got in I also walked in with my best mate and we were told we had to have two women with "we didn't know" accompany us in and a cover charge on top of that which I have never seen at any pub let alone at a official club anywhere. Very rude and racists doorman who targets people and didn't let us in after two Other guys alone in front of me and not to mention story's of women getting drugged here. Eh, not much to write home about. Happened to be walking past the Moulin Rouge en route to our hotel and we decided to pop in. It was 18+ which I don't think I'll ever get used to, you know, being a whole decade past 18 lol. When we walked in, it looked like everyone had been there since they got off work but it was midnight. They all had work attire on. Anyways, we stayed for maybe 10 minutes. What a great night! We wanted to check out Moulin Rouge just from the outside to take pictures at night. We were already drunk from pre-drinking before we came out so we didn't care where we ended up as long as there was music and booze. We walked into a perfect place for what we were looking for! They were playing Sunday Night football! Not that I watched it since I was pretty drunk, but it was nice to see it playing in the background! I was really liking the hop music that was playing... it was a nice change from trance and house music we've been listening to during our 2 week Europe trip including Ibiza. We came to backstage @ o'sullivans as part of the Paris Bar Crawl, and on initial sight we thought "Really?! This is the club?" From the outside it looks like your typical Irish sports bar, which I guess is what they cater for during the day, however at night it transforms itself into a pretty damn cool club in a very cool area. The music was great, the dance floor was packed and we all had a seriously good night partying away until well past 5am. My only problem was the price of the drinks - €9 for a single spirit in a club seems a little excessive. All in all a great night out and if I'm back in Paris, it's definitely somewhere I'll be looking up again! read more

I stopped in with a few friends last Sunday after catching a show at the Moulin Rouge next door. The bar was decent and the salsa dance floor was ok. But I will never go back. They live band was decent but at three different times the band would pull a girl up onto the stage and try and for her to ''show her tits''. One girl looked so scared and embarrassed that she was a almost crying. Another one refused and the band cursed her out on the mic '' what the fucks wrong with you, you've got the biggest fucking tits in the bar''. Then they tried to get her friend to tell her to ''take it off'' Her friends nearly punch the dude. (I almost did that myself). The worst part is that the bar staff let this happen. I would never go back, especially with a girl. If the bar is going to condone sexual harassment of customers, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Fine until some handsy asshole tried to paw my ass and then stuck his hand down my top after I'd told him hands off. I won't lie, he earned himself a slap for that. But when I reported it to staff, nothing. I guess it's assumed that women want to be groped by random people, even after they clearly say no. I mean, the word no sounds almost exactly the same in English and in French, so it's not like it was a language barrier issue. Until that point, I was having fun, but I'm not sure this place really gives a shit about the safety of its customers, tourists or not. In 2014 my best friend and I went here with a group of people we were traveling with. We went in the later part of the evening and it was a lot of fun! They play a variety of music, bar staff is attentive even with hundreds of guests, and their specialty shots were amazing (especially the one they light on fire)! Crowd is from all over the world, but primarily younger locals looking to have a good time like everyone else. While there a friend and I were asked to join a man in the "back". Curiously (and hesitantly) we said yes. We were surprised to find another bar that was like walking into a speakeasy/old school mobster lounge where jazz music filled the room and beautiful people were standing/sitting their favorite drink in hand. Bottom line: enjoy and say yes to all knew experiences (BUT bring a friend or 5!). read more

This place is a great dance club with live music and DJs til the wee hours of the morning. The crowd is lively, young and well staffed.

Not the fastest service nor the best food! Chicken seemed undercooked and the nachos just had a few cold pieces of cheese thrown over them. The only good thing about this place is the happy hour drinks to help me get through the rest of the meal. Cheers read more

Decent club, plays western hip hop and trance. Met a handful of Americans, pretty diverse. You got the French Locals, ran into some people from Poland, UK, New Zealand, Aussie. You get the picture, a nice party atmosphere for tourist with a bunch of foreigners. I was staying at the budget Hotel Sofia, so it was a short walking distance for me. read more

Best Bar in Paris...had a great 'cover' band! Definitely a young and vibrant bar, I would encourage anyone in the area to look it up!

We were greeted by a very welcoming door man, however as soon as we walked in the whole bar smelt of vomit. My brother, who is gay, went to go buy drinks but was repeatedly ignored by the bartender, even after making eye contact with him numerous times. He did not feel very accommodated. The bartender served other straight guys and girls all who arrived after my brother. I went into the bathroom to fix my lipstick to find the bathrooms were a mess, so bad I had to walk out, and the cobblestone floor made it super slippery to walk on for us ladies. If you happen to catch the Moulin Rouge, or looking for a bar in this area, steer away from O'Sullivans, as there are other cleaner, more fun, cheaper bars to have a good time in. read more

Rare in Paris O'Sull's (BTM) By the Mill is self-acclaimed as one of the biggest pubs in Europe. In reality it's more of a nightclub, which plays contemporary pub during the day. Avoid it for a drink but one of the few places which is free and easy to get into and guarantees a great night of dancing and partying until the wee wee hours. Shots !!! O'Sullivan's has never let me down as a place to start or end an evening. I've enjoyed many memories and I few too many shots at this establishment! I highly recommend all wanderers in the neighborhood to stop in, especially if you're looking for a dance, or even better, for one of the great backstage concerts. 1 star only because 0 is not an option. Do not waste your money in that place!! The music maybe good, but the bouncers are extremely rude, biased, and disrespectful especially towards women; and unfortunately empowered by management. Bartenders are equally terrible. read more
