Came here with 3 friends on a Sunday afternoon (literally all restaurants in Jonquière are closed on Sundays) and we weren't greeted at all. In fact, because we were clearly anglophones, no one bothered to serve us or give us menus. We had to wait about 15 minutes just to get our menus even though the place was almost empty. With only one waitress working at this hour, she barely came to us and we had to try really hard to flag her down. Needless to say, the food was very delicious. I ordered the burger they had and the portions were amazing and the presentation was flawless Just on food itself, I would give it 4 stars as it was still very expensive. The service bumps this place down to a 3.

Fantastic Saguenay local based brew pub that has a very down home comfortable feel to it. When we arrived here there appeared to be some larger groups really enjoying themselves. Beer was flowing and good times were being had. Rarely do I consume much booze at lunch or I'd never feel like going back to work. Or smelling like beer for an afternoon meeting is not very cool with clients (unless you are with them). I ordered a club sandwich that was healthy in size and came with a few salads and what appeared to be focaccia bread. Overall a solid meal hearty and fresh. Portion size was good and service was above average. I've eaten at La Voie Maltee in Quebec where it felt more like a "meat market" in the evening with many hungry cougars on the prowl. The feel here was much more laid back and younger. Maybe in the night time the Gino's and Betty's come out looking their finest looking for a good times. Maybe it's more laid back. Overall a very solid brew pub.

Stopped here at 10am on a road trip. We probably looked dirty and messy and it didn't help that we…read morewere ordering a large poutine while everyone else was having a nice breakfast, but in spite of all that, the waitress was very nice and upbeat. She asked us questions about where we're going/where we're from and served us very quickly. My boyfriend and I got a large poutine with BBQ sauce. They didn't even have all the stuff prepped yet, but they hurried and finished it so we could get it. We sat and after a few minutes, the waitress brought us our food and chatted with us a bit longer about her grandkids. The poutine was very good. I personally prefer the traditional sauce, but my boyfriend loved the BBQ sauce. The cheese was squeeky and there was a generous service of sauce. It ended up being 14$ if I remember correctly. Still a very decent price for the quality of the meal! Pro tip: there's a bathroom that you can use. It's accessible from the outside

So far, it is THE best restaurant I have eaten at in my travels for a month in quebec...including montreal and quebec city. It is one of my top 5 restaurants I have eaten at in the entire world on my travels...its that good. The food is local with a french flare. Traditional foods made elegantly emphasizing fresh local foods. The beef tartare is unbelievable. The seafood fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable, and the staff treated us so great. No discrimination for being anglophone and they totally accomadate us for translating the menu. Outstanding service, our water was topped up at least 6 times as we were thirsty from our hike. Get the beef tartare. The table d'hote menu offers 4 courses for a reasonable price. It is well worth it. We wanted to book for lunch but they are not open on sundays... I'm planning to drive out from quebec city just to eat here again. This is a must go to if in this area. We drove 40 minutes from our hotel in sagunay. And it was well worth it. Unbelievable. The food is great. Ambience is perfect to impress a date or for special occasions!!!
