It is run by a family so at times it got incredibly rambunctious. Servers would sing as they dropped plates off, our servers would be yelling across the restaurant for an order. This would have been okay if the restaurant environment matched this behaviour. However, it did not. This restaurant has white table clothes, and dim lighting. So, yelling across the restaurant didn't set the mood. One thing should be noted is that servers cared. I ordered a sparkling apple juice, but he thought that I had ordered an Aperol Spritz, because of a language barrier. I got the Aperol Spritz, didn't drink it that much. He later came to the table to ask why and if my drink was okay. He quickly fixed the mistake he had made. Was really impressed by this. Overall, food is delicious, and service was good at times. However, service should be more aware of the environment that they are trying to initiate.

It's true what another reviewer said--that this restaurant is better suited for a romantic evening than a dinner with colleagues. White tablecloths, candles, a deep wooden bar in the back boasting bold Italian wines... and the odd art piece heavily featuring a Ferrari. The food, oh the food! The flavors were wonderful, from the burrata starter to the tiramisu dessert. I ordered the penne arrabbiata for my main, which was just a little too al dente: I would have cooked the pasta for 30-45 seconds more.

We enjoyed a bottle of red wine which went perfectly with our meal. I can't believe this pizza was so big and yet cooked so perfectly. The server was wonderful as well as the other staff. We sat in the bar area to stay out of the sun but the outside was loaded with charming tables on a really cute tree lined street. So...if you're ever in Munich, eat here.
