I am a huge fan of cheap fun, and with no entry fee, it went pretty far here. The small fair was held at the raceway, so this was not a huge statewide sized event. Overall the prices were fairly good. Funnel cakes were 3.50 and so were beers so there is absolutely no room to complain. The rides were a little pricey at 1$ per ticket if you didn't but they sheet of them, but my son loved the little train too much to pass it up. The big highlight for us though were the animals. There were cows, sheep, pigs, goats, horses, chickens, bunnies and pigeons for judging and my son was in heaven. I swear some of those cows were cared for more than I am. In my whole life I have never seen cows so big either. They were in open stalls too so my boy could pet them, though I'm not sure if he was actually supposed to. There were also pony rides, some of the best people watching I have ever had in my life, tractors, a box with bunnies you could pick up, oh and a cage full of bears. Yup, real live black bears for your viewing pleasure. The animal lover in me was a little appalled, the rest of me loved it, but not enough to pay 4$ for a picture with one. This was no luncheon at the Ritz, nor was it an evening at the opera, but it was totally awesome and I can't wait to go again next year!

Another member assisted us with finding marriage documentation. This place is a genealogists dream. Detailed records of numerous topics. We purchased a family membership and plan to return for further research. Prices are affordable, they have wifi, allow you to use computers, make copies, and much more. The volunteers were friendly, personable and knowledgable. They were also patient as we went on and on about family issues in relation to genealogy. It was a great visit and I am thankful for their help. Their hours are limited but you can email them any time for assistance. I definitely reccomend this guild.

Such a unique experience that I was thrilled to enjoy again. My earlier review below from 4/30/11 still holds -- wouldn't change a word. This drive-in is a MUST DO. Food at the snack bar is fresh cooked and great. The counter staff moves you through quickly so you have your food in hand in plenty of time to enjoy it in your car before the show starts. $8 is the best price anywhere for 2 first run double features. Sound through the radio is perfect every time. Grass is lush and better than mine at home in the yard! As good as the movie experience is, the management and the way the drive-in is run is just as good. The place is clean and well kept. This is a great value for dates AND families and I hope it stays in business until I'm too old to drive.
