Typical Portuguese grilled chicken with or without piri piri seasoning is the big draw here. Not sure what else might be on the menu because we were laser focused on the chicken today for lunch. We visited on a Sunday very close to opening time and by the time we left, the place was full and doing a brisk take away business. Note that takeaway orders for chicken are by the kilo. Also note, typical chickens in Portugal are small compared to chickens in the USA.
In usual Portuguese churrasqueira style, we were asked do you want chicken for everyone at your table? salad? rice or chips (fries)? Friendly, efficient service. And delicious chicken with crispy skin, salad and homemade fries. Everything came out nice and hot, chicken was moist. And we washed it all down with a 1/2ltr of house red wine.
