Whoa! We literally stumbled upon this place while walking down one of the back streets of Zona Rosa. As we passed the door, we looked, and to our surprised it was packed with teenagers in the middle of the day on a Saturday. This immediately told me two things: (1) It's cheap. Without a doubt it is just that. And (2) there's something fun about this place. Basically, when you walk up to the counter of O'Mandu, you will find before you dozens of different flavored steamed buns. They're all pre-made and pre-packaged. Thus, if you order one of these buns, you'll be asked if you want it hot or cold. Personally, I'm going to recommend that you get the savory flavors warm (they just microwave it real quick) and that you get the sweet flavors cold (just eat it right out of the bag). In the savory category, I really liked the Namaste Curry. The queso chorizo was decent, but the pizza was disappointing. On the sweet side, the Chocoboy was decent, but personally I preferred the zarazamora. If you're not going to take them to go, you might also be interested in some of the different noodle bowls, which are quite popular. Alternatively, I would also recommend the mandu, Korean dumplings, for which the restaurant is named. They're not mind blowing, but they're cheap, quick and pretty good. Bonus: they serve calpis, which is a sweet, yet acidic, milk drink. Very tasty. Anyway, check out O'Mandu if you're looking to feel like you are in on a secret that only the kids know about. read more
