We did not stay and eat. This review is just about their *pan dulce*. They have AMAZING bread, it is always so fluffy and sweet. I have been eating the conchas here for so long, and they have always been one of the best. They also have a big breakfast/lunch menu but this is not ny favorite place to sit down and eat.

Really cute place. Nice seating outdoors and tasty food. Kind of expensive and possibly touristy but a good meal for many people! The food wa flavorful and fresh and got the job done.

I have to share the same 3 star review with the Other reviews of past. Door greeters were good hustlers at selling the menu and pulled us in. Best part of the meal, Waiters and Runners were VERY Polite & Professional. It was busy and little to no service. Espresso Coffee drinks (like said in other reviews) is Very Watered Down. We asked to remake on Two occasions. Food was very Normal. But the Costs was as equal to a Good Dinner in the same colonia. Can't say I'd return to share a meal with friends, maybe a Tea & Pastry for a quick work meeting or to quickly meet a stranger. Overall staff was polite and courteous and food not the fault of waiters. And the costs I was surprised to be as much, you are paying for the Pretty Space not fine food or good coffee .

Choose the huevos rancheros or divorciados... avoid the salmon omelet. It's edible, but only because it's flavorless.

The best thing about this place is the service and the orange juice. My salmon omelet was utterly uninspired, dry, burnt, unseasoned... and served with nothing but maybe three tablespoons of some eggplant onion stir-fry. The coffee was watery.

Beautiful cafe and excellent go to spot at any time a day! Their menu has a great variety and their coffee and pastries are delicious!

The best conchas in all Mexico City!

The best conchas in all Mexico City. And that's quite a statement given that the competition is fierce. Somehow they manage to make them crunchy on the outside yet chewy on the inside. The sugar coating is rich and buttery. The vanilla conchas are the favorite choice but the chocolate ones are also good. In spite of the quality of the conchas, I am always torn apart because the almond croissant is also superb. In contrast with the bakery, the food is not that great. It's good, but not great. The coffee, especially, could be higher quality to go along to the pastries. I do recommend the Lebanese scrambled eggs (with shanklish).

Lovely location, courteous service, way overpriced average meals. Not worth the price in my opinion.

We then kicked things off with the arancini, which set the tone right away--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. For mains, we shared a spread and honestly couldn't pick a favorite: the Octopus Tacos were tender and packed with flavor, the Rabbit Tacos were unique and delicious, and the roasted seasonal vegetables "al mojo de ajo" were simple but so satisfying. The marinated pan-fried salmon and fresh trout were both beautifully cooked and thoughtfully seasoned. Every dish felt intentional, beautifully presented and well executed. But the real showstoppers were the desserts. The fresh goat cheesecake with orange, grapefruit, and lemon was bright and perfectly balanced, and the whisky chocolate crème brûlée was rich, smooth, and unforgettable. Desserts truly knocked it out of the park. Bonus points for the cocktails--my hubby was a huge fan. Great food, great drinks, excellent service and relaxed ambiance made for a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend adding Temporal to your Mexico City dining list.

Then, allow the friendly staff to bring as many items from the menu as you can handle. Come with a group so you can share. An absolute must is the whole fish done à la Contramar, one side of the split fish coated in a punchy parsley sauce and the other in a red adobo rub. Served with flour tortillas (which are refillable) and black bean dip, you'll be instructed how to compose perfect bites. Then, choose your own adventure! We also had both the 4 piece each shrimp tostadas and tuna tostadas. Radically different so getting both doesn't duplicate. The pasta (spaghettini) with clams was buttery and garlicky and the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked. Biggest surprise was the grilled soft shell crabs (with corn tortillas). They came pre cut then reassembled so it was easy to pick them up and pop them in your mouth. The grill flavor was fantastic and we were all impressed. We finished with a slice of coconut cake which was like a caramel coated macaroon. Perfect! Large wine list by the glass and bottle, many cocktails, sangria and beer to choose from. Definitely a place to visit when in Mexico City. Sorry for the lack of photos-- we forgot because we dove into each dish (we were hungry and they looked so good)! Got one good one though...

Even though they have…read moreseveral locations across CDMX, we stumbled upon one just a short walk from our hotel--and the fact that they were open on Christmas Day already earned bonus points. What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must. With such a wide menu, you're guaranteed to find something you'll love--and very likely come back for more. Highly recommend!

We tried a few juices, the chicken tomato salad and the salmon tacos. The salad was huge with a big portion of chicken, avocado and many toppings for a reasonable price. The tacos were smaller but flavorful. Taking off a star because my salad arrived almost 15 minutes before my boyfriend's tacos arrived and the restaurant was pretty empty. The lights were out in the bathroom and in part of the restaurant, so not sure if they were dealing with a partial power outage and impact to the kitchen. Still recommend for the food!
