The staff are engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating. The place is nice, clean, out of the way, peaceful. Come right as they open so you get to interact with the staff, you will enjoy the experience better than in a crowded space. Fantastic!

The gardens are cottage in style, looking both natural and manicured at the same time. The owner is a welcoming woman who seems more interested in slaking your thirst than selling you wine, which is possibly why we bought so much. Start with the Riesling and work your way through the list, you'll find at least one or two you'll want to take home. Make a seat outside if the weather is fine, the view is lovely and the atmosphere adds so much worth to the experience. Some produce is available for sale here (jams honey etc) but it is not a lunch spot. If you a recycling south from Clare we recommend this being your first or last stop.
