Also, the people that hang around are usually drug addicts, drunks, or just extremely creepy men. It's located in a sketchy area, as well. The customer service, however, is quite good--the employees are friendly, during daylight hours that is. I definitely will not be going here again at night time. However, if you're a tweaker, junkie, or other type of degenerate, this definitely is the shop for you; not only can you buy your munchies and crunchies, but you can also buy a whatever drug apparatus you want, and even score your drug of choice when you step outside!

Specifically, I purchase their baby arugula and baby broccoli sprouts, which are absolutely delicious and I can't find them anywhere else. I also purchase all my Woodstock items here, including dark sweet cherries and various vegetables. A lot of the stores don't seem to carry the Woodstock products, which I find are the best available in terms of flavor and quality. I purchase a number of other things here as I need them and that I enjoy. Even though it is quite a challenge (because of the giant size of this store), when I have time I peruse some of the aisles in which I don't usually shop for things that I might be interested in. Shop 'n Kart has a huge selection.

They will not answer the phone to take food orders and are blatantly rude to yiur face when you go into order. This has been going on for months. I have been a regular customer for over 20 years and I will be going to 711 or anywhere else from now on. They must know the girls that work the weekend are sub-par but dont care enough about there customers to do something about it. The prices are already outrageous. I wonder how they'll do during summer when they dont have all the high-school kids with their parents money to take advantage of. It's a shame that place used to feel like home idk why they let these girls keep chasing off business.

Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but five years after my first impression of the store, Im still thrilled that I live so close to a great organic grocery store. When you live in Nebraska and the closest grocery store is 45 minutes away from you, and the closest store with a moderate selection of organic products is almost 2 hours away, you really appreciate a store like this in a town like this where there are many organic options to choose from. What caught my eye that first time, and it hasnt changed over the past five years: an excellent selection of products I actually use. No having to figure out "is this organic?" when looking at the produce, where some is organic and some isnt; its all organic here. Wide aisles, sparkling floors. Staff who have become friends. Everything is so clean. Theyll special order for you. And for me, no having to drive 2 hours to find "something, anything" thats organic. Yes, there are other stores in town that offer organic choices. But for a complete selection of everything I need, from sources I trust, that I know are always going to be there, PLUS a Senior Discount Day on Thursdays and fitness club discounts on Fridays, to me Gooseberries cant be beat. Shop local, shop the independent businesses; keep those businesses prospering, even if it costs a little more. Its worth it in the long run.

The shower felt glorious that morning - for some strange reason - so I spent a good amount of time letting the warm water run its course over the twists and turns of my skin. It wasn't a work day for me, so I sat down and turned on cartoons (my guilty pleasure) while I thought about what I should do. Normally, I'd endeavor to hike or get outdoors, but I decided a bloody mary and ungodly amount of movies and television were a better option. I mean, it had been a long week, and I earned it. Ya know? So I put some jeans and sneakers on and headed out to find some vodka and bacon and asparagus and fun things for the spiciest effin bloody around. I'm talking full blown meat and olive chunks soaking in a bath of curry-like redness that would make Aunt Jemima say "gaadammmmmmn." So I found myself at North Medford Liquor Store. They had vodka.
