She was so friendly and so involved with every aspect of her practice. She has a heart that really wants to help her patient and she is so pleasant and kind. While I was still waiting, other patients were being called ahead of me, which was frustrating and confusing. When I finally went up to the front desk to reschedule, the receptionist asked for my name again and still seemed unable to locate me in the system, even though she had already checked me in earlier. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the long wait. Instead, I was offered a new appointment over a month later, at the end of May. This isn't the first issue I've had either, on a previous occasion, I was told I'd receive a call to schedule an appointment, but after waiting a full month with no follow-up, I had to reach out myself. Overall, this place has been extremely disorganized and unprofessional in my experience. I would not recommend it.

The problem I have is: they have told me that the reason they have moved to this policy is because "sometimes they haven't gotten paid by insurance." Understandable sentiment, but it's not ok to just shift the risk to the patient. Did I miss something here? Feels like I'll get my refund as long as the insurance is ok with it, but they will never be at risk of losing a session fee. In an area where dentist offices are plentiful it's surprising they've gone this route. I've changed my routine dentist office just for this reason and honestly, I haven't felt deprived of anything.
