We took the kids here over Christmas break and it was a blast! Its an old-school bowling alley, not like those big chains that cost an arm and a leg. This place is legit reasonably-priced. We rented shoes and my only complaint was the shoes did stick a little to the floor so your release was a little awkward. After about a half game, I was able to adjust. The place seemed very clean, even though leagues had finished just before we arrived. We didn't have any food, but it looked like standard bowling alley fried stuff. The employees were all pleasant and helpful. One caution: Between where the parking lot ends and the road starts, there is a drop off of about 10 feet. They had a couple cones at the edge but it still seemed a little suspect, especially at night. read more

Had a good time here. Decent prices and well working machines. Lots of balls to pick from and wasn't too busy on a Saturday during the day. Seemed clean and the worker was nice. We ordered tater tots and onion rings. Both were good and came out quickly. Big parking lot for easy parking. read more

I grew up bowling at ofallon bowl. one of my best friends manages the place. It's owned by the Meyer family for 2 generation. the original owners are deceased. It is a decent place to bowl and drink. I retired from bowling a couple of years ago. within 30 miles you have 5 bowling alleys to choose from. read more

NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN!!!! manager stared at us girls the entire time and followed us out until we got into our car. He would not acknowledge a thing us girl said and only talked to the boys. We were the only girls in that place and after starring at us for 10 min we said something as it was making us uncomfortable. he then reacted in kicking us out of the place for "not following the rules, not having our bowling shoes on, ect" when not one of us girls bowled without our shoes. Not to mention the group of boys in the place with us at the same time did not have shoes on bowling and manger diddnt even acknowledge to them. read more

What a gem, we were told about this place by a friend. We stopped to check it out last week. We didn't bowl but looked at the lanes and they looked great for a small place. We did however have drinks and dinner in the lounge. The food was amazing and the drinks were very reasonable in price. They have daily specials and a great menu to boot. read more

I work with adults who have disabilities. We go to O'Fallon Bowl weekly. Each time we go, it is always a great time. The food there is delicious! The staff is patient with us. They interact with our clients and do not treat them differently. My clients always feel respected. They always make sure that there is an accessible lane available to us. There is plenty of room for our non-ambulatory clients to get through. The one time that they did forget that we were coming and did not have a lane available when we arrived, they let us bowl for free. I have also seen schools and other adult day programs using this bowling alley. Love, love, love this place! Any place that treats my clients with dignity and respect will always be a place that I'll recommend. They only area I see need for improvement would be the bathrooms. They are not very accessible. Otherwise, this is the perfect bowling alley for us! read more

I have been going here for years and today was my last time. We bowled 3 games when a group of teenagers were placed next to us. They proceeded to bounce the balls and throw double balls down the alley without a peep from anyone on the staff. At one point they hit the gate and got a ball stuck. The attendant (another teenager) retrieved it without question. When we finished, I mentioned to the same attendant that we would have bowled more but clearly no one was babysitting the kids at the end. We told him everything and his response was "teenagers will be teenagers". No apology, and he seemed to be offended that we even mentioned it. At $3.25 a game, I can bowl on better lanes elsewhere but make it a point to support local business. Clearly this attendant doesn't care if they tear up the lanes or run off other customers. I think I found my new favorite bowling place. No smoking!! It's small,the people working we're very nice. Stay with beer don't drink mixed drinks the ice might be funky. I wouldn't waste my time. I arrived with 4 kids ready for a night of fun. We waited (only ones at the counter) and were told we could bowl but had an hour limit. I agreed however when we got to the lane our game was never entered so we had to ask to start the game in the system. I asked for bumpers 3x and finally 20 min later got bumpers and a game started. We really only got to bowl 40 min, awful service. The concession worker was swamped and I felt bad for him-he needed more staff to assist. Save yourself the trouble and go to Frontier Lanes down the road. read more

About 8 of us arrived and had a wait on the lanes. No problem the adults went to the bar and the kids went to the concession stand. The staff was so rude like we were not welcome there. The kids which are all teens were a little excited and gave high fives and such when they would bowl a good frame they were told not to do that. We bowled about 3 entire games and were gonna bowl another but then they move a "money game" right next to us and then gave us rules on how if they are bowling next to us we have to wait for them because the game was for money. They were so rude and I wouldn't waste my time going there because they don't want your money. We spent a nice amount of money while we were there. I will go to Frontier Lanes or Cave springs lanes from now on. Very grouchy people and definitely not a family establishment. read more

First off i need to say I've been going to O'fallon bowl since i was a teenager, and have never had any trouble, That all changed in the past week, I will never visit this establishment again. About 10 years ago I bought a pair of bowling shoes at a garage sale. The bowling shoes said O'fallon bowl on the side, but I never thought anything about it. figured it was an old pair the bowling alley had sold off. I've been to O'fallon bowl with those shoes 5-10x since I bought them, never had any trouble. This past week my son took his girlfriend out to bowl, I told him go to O'fallon bowl, I used to go as a kid, you'll like it. I gave him my shoes to save on the rental fee. He went in, bought shoes for his girlfriend, and proceeded to bowl a couple games. Upon leaving he took his girlfriend's shoes back to the counter, and went to leave. He made no attempt to hide my shoes. The attendant then accused my son of stealing the shoes. To be more accurate, he said "give me those shoes, those are stolen". This was in front of numerous people at the counter. My son explained the shoes were his dad's, he brought them in with him, but the attendant got more rude and said "those shoes are stolen, give them to me". My son thought they were going to call the cops, was by that time extremely embarrassed because everyone was looking at him like he was a thief, threw the shoes on the counter, and left. Once my son talked to me, I called. I explained the how I'd bought the shoes years back from a garages sale, etc. The attendant accused me of stealing the shoes. Again, to be fair he said "we have no way of knowing if those shoes are your or ours." I told him I wanted to speak to a manager, he told me to call back M-F. I did, and set a mtg to sit down with the general manager. I told time out of my work schedule, went to see him. From the very first words with the manager, there was no attempt to apologize for the misunderstanding, no attempts to apologize for making my son/me feel like common criminals (in front of other customers). I did get angry, raised my voice, even said a few cuss words, which I later apologized for. Told the manager I didn't give a damn about the shoes, I cared about the way he made me/my son feel when the damned shoes were mine. He agreed, you made no attempts to hide them, he agreed you walked in with them, he agreed I've never had anyone take time out of their work schedule to come see me over a pair of shoes (because when it's happened in the past the parties were guilty), but it didn't matter to him. "Those are my shoes you're not getting them back", he said. I even asked him to call the police to resolve it, he did. There was no way he was going to give the shoes back, or apologize, anything. I explained my business would go elsewhere, I'd ensure everyone else I knew took their business elsewhere, he said "do what you gotta do". Needless to say, I will never step foot into Ofallon bowl again, and I plan to take as many people as possible with me. My hope is this place shuts down in the next 3-4 years due to business dropoff. read more
