Chicken Tikka Masala #2. Cauliflower & Potato. Garlic Naan. Samosa. Basmati Rice.

live a few blocks away, and figured I'd try it. Got the #2 Tikka Masala. Great flavor, Samosa was solid. Also got the Garlic Naan. The lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. On a warmer night, it would be great to walk outside the Hall into the beautiful AT&T Discovery District, and enjoy your meal.

Chicken Butter Masala

Good food, first time having Indian. Solid 7.8. Great locations within the exchange! Great atmosphere to sit and eat

Tikka Masala combo with Dal Makhani

I was pleasantly surprised about the food. I got a tikka masala combo with dal makhani and it was good! Masala spice was on point with a good amount of spice and the samosa was good too. The dal makhani was a little thicker than I've had before but was still good. The amount of food for the price was reasonable in downtown Dallas. They give a lot of food, so good thing I didn't get a naan or wouldn't have been able to finish. Try this place out! One of the better places in the area.

Truly disappointed!…read more My experience at this restaurant was uncomfortable and disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the visit felt very different from what I would expect at a welcoming restaurant. We were greeted politely at first, but shortly after, two non-Indian customers walked in, and the waitress immediately went over to welcome them and bring them water. We had not been offered water at that point. When she eventually came to our table, she asked if we were ready to order but did not seem fully present or attentive while we were speaking. We then had to ask if we could also get water. When it was brought out, one of the glasses was broken. Later, when we pointed it out and asked for another glass of water, there was no apology or real acknowledgment, which was very disappointing. We had to keep asking for water unlike other non Indian tables. The food itself was mediocre, but the service was what made the experience unacceptable. It felt like we were treated differently compared to other guests, and that is not something I expected or appreciated. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting again.

The vegetarian buffet is relatively small, but nutritionally diverse and dense. Dishes today ranged from simple steamed broccoli and carrots to curried cauliflower and multiple legume dishes, to a salad bowl with a wide range of fresh colorful veggies. You will leave full and happy, I fully expect, if you try it too. The little restaurant is housed in a beautiful ornate temple, and has a lovely outdoor courtyard to dine in on pleasant days (I eat inside when it's hot or cold out.) Service is minimal, but attentive by buffet joint standards. Parking is a secure private lot and spaces are plentiful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but you are fully separated from it if you park in the secure lot. For $15 at lunch, you will likely have your most nutritious meal of your (pick a time period), and get a free drink and desserts. Some items are available for upcharge, but I find them to be unnecessary. The vibe is temple casual and reminds me of hippy establishments I used to frequent in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend you try it, if you love fresh vegan fare at a bargain price and want to check out the lovely temple and grounds while you're there.

They are rated number one vegetarian spot in Dallas for a reason. You wont be disappointed. Food is delish, the space is beautiful and the price is solid! Def recommend if you love indian food and/or if youre vegetarian!! You can add on extra drinks/desserts for a bit more. I grabbed a samosa and mango lassi. I think the samosa was like $4 and the mango lassi was like $6? The samosa was really tasty. I loved the okra and potato curry as well. The rice pudding was also very good.

Raj and Jamoona our servers were attentive and very friendly. The decor was pretty and colorful without going overboard. The food was just amazing and portions were shareable. Easily the best butter chicken and samosa chaat I've ever had. The mango lassi and naan were super tasty, and we also ordered the dry rub lamb, and beef biriyani. Outside of the taste, the price point was also great. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Was only me so I wasn't able to try a lot of items. I ordered tikka masala (chicken) ($21) and vegetable samosa ($10). The tikka masala is the best I have had in a very long time. Absolutely delicious! I got medium and it had a nice spice to it. Not too much at all. The rice that comes with it is a yellow rice with a bit of flavor and not plain white. Enjoyed that. The vegetable samosa are huge. They taste good, but I will say i prefer when are made with cubed or crumbled potatoes. These are made with mashed and very sparse on the peas. The naan had a different consistency than I'm used to. Was very flat and almost crispy. And they charge extra for it. ($3.50) I feel it was a bit expensive. $50 for 1 entree and samosa and naan. That did include driver tip, but still $50 for 1 for lunch is a bit high. Delivery is often higher than if one visits the restaurant and I have not been in person. The tikka masala portion size was a good size but $21, I'm not sure. Sure was delicious! Really good! I do look forward to trying to other dishes and hope to visit the restaurant. This is the kind of food that'll make you crave it randomly!

The interiors are very pretty, with an emphasis on traditional pieces and decor from India. I loved the beautiful woodwork on some of the imported pieces they had. Service: The service was pretty slow, but that was fine with us! The server was the only person supporting the whole restaurant, take out, and bar. Food: The food was incredible! My husband and I ordered the mango chicken to share and the chili momos as an appetizer. The chili momos were not too spicy, but had a mild kick and banging with flavor. There were 4 pieces to the order, and the perfect amount of food for the appetizer. The mango chicken was made with real mangos and no additional sugar added to the dish, which we loved! I made a 9:00 PM reservation because the restaurant's posted hours showed that they were open until midnight. We arrived shortly after 9:00 and were seated, but the experience felt off from the beginning. There was bottled Acqua Panna water on the table, and when we were asked whether we wanted regular water or the bottled water, I chose the bottled water. The immediate response was, "It's $5." I had absolutely no issue with paying $5 for water, but the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily presumptive and rubbed me the wrong way. A simple explanation that the bottled water was available for an additional charge would have felt much more welcoming. Then, around 9:20, we were informed that last call for food was at 9:30. When I asked what time the restaurant closed, I was told 9:30. That was extremely confusing considering the posted closing time was midnight and, more importantly, the reservation system allowed me to make a 9:00 PM reservation. At that point, we decided to leave. I personally don't like ordering food right before a restaurant closes, and had the correct hours or last-order time been communicated when I made the reservation, I simply would have chosen somewhere else from the beginning. Instead, our dinner plans were disrupted and we had to find another restaurant after 9 PM. I will say that the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a really cute, inviting atmosphere. That's honestly what makes the experience even more disappointing. I had been looking forward to enjoying the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere, and it's unfortunate that we really didn't get the opportunity to experience any of it. I can't speak to the food or drinks since we never got the chance to try them, but the reservation availability, posted hours, communication, and overall experience upon arrival definitely need improvement.
