My first child was born at 28 weeks weighing only 980 grammes. We are both very lucky to be alive and if it was not for the excellant care and attention which we received from Dr. Waterstone, we would not be here today. My second pregnancy was very high risk, and I received the highest quality of care and attention from Dr. Waterstone. He could not have been nicer or more attentive to me. He may not be big into chitchat but that is not what we attend our consultants for. He is kind and polite at all times. I have recommended Dr. Waterstone to several of my friends and I have not heard any complaints from them. In fact on one of my stays in hospital, the ladies in the room with me, who were attending different consultants were more than impressed with the attention and care I was receiving. I couldn't praise him enough, or be more grateful to him.

From the first visit, I was amazed at the relief. At my follow up after the x-rays and another treatment I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation without any problems. Being a tourist, I feared that I might be taken advantage of, but I had nothing to fear. She was beyond fair and accommodating. She is so personable, knowledgable, up front, and highly trained. She was able to explain her approach, her history from a professional point of view with a personal touch, as well as provide recommendations. I highly recommend Dr. Cantillon. It's a real shame that they have to work under such awful conditions but they do it cheerfully and without complaint. The care you receive here is second to none and it's a crime that the HSE aren't giving it the funding it needs and deserves. My son received the top class care here that the so-called centre of excellence at CUH couldn't provide.

I called the day before and made an appointment, and was taken to the upstairs eye clinic area and seen quite quickly when I arrived, only about 10 minutes' wait. The staff and technicians were all friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. I wasn't in town long enough to take advantage of the amazing deals they had on glasses and contacts, but would have done so if I'd had a few more days. They had an impressive array of frames in every price range, and I saw several I wanted. When I go back, I'll hit SpecSavers at the beginning of my trip, instead of at the end!
