I picked Beth Allen because I knew they were only about 3-4 miles from the funeral location. When I called, I told the Beth Allen florist where I lived which is 4 hours away and that I wanted to send flowers to my Aunt's funeral. She likely assumed I would never see them but that was not the case, we were there at the funeral. I expressed that we didn't want to be too showy nor look cheap and by by Beth Allen's recommendation we paid $90 dollars for a floral arrangement. When we got to the funeral we saw our flower order and it looked pitiful, small, bland, and cheap. I know 1800 flowers is a service i could but i try not to use internet to buy things. due to the fact it kills jobs. so i called this enchanted flowerd and gifts in millbury ohio. They were going to charge me a delivery fee of 15$ to deliver a set same day 5.6 miles away. So i advised that i thought that fee was to high and went online and got something with the delivery fee waived. The person who helped us was either elusive or ignorant about the product. We viewed samples online (which didn't list prices) and then called to inquire about costs. The attendant gave us three price points and explained that it depends on the type of flowers and size. That made sense so we told her what size we wanted and types of flowers. Then she quoted another range of prices. When I asked her why she couldn't give us a price she said it depends on the types of flowers used. I told her again what I wanted, exactly. She said they could do it and restated the cost range. Is it not possible to give me a quote for flowers today? Why the range after I chose the size and flowers? And mostly, why cause so much confusion for people who are grieving? I suspect they are gouging. I'll go elsewhere next time.
