Remax and Terri Guenthner have provided a wonderful experience in buying a property. Terri…read morecompletely surpassed my expectations for what working with an agent would entail. She made a tremendous effort to understand what we were looking for in a house, to patiently work with us to find the right property, to be available to consult with during off-hours, to be very straightforward and honest, and to advise us well in making our final decisions and buying our home. We are very grateful and recommend her wholeheartedly!

I cannot personally recommend…read moretheir business for the following reason: I won't name names, but the agent who showed us the home we wanted to buy required that we sign a buyer's agent agreement with her before she would help us put an offer on a house. As soon as we'd signed the paperwork, she announced that she would *not* be helping us personally, as she would be gone for several weeks due to a death in the family. We would instead be dealing with her colleage, who happened to be the agent representing the seller. She had us sign a contract fully knowing she would be out of town and that having the seller's agent represent us in her stead was a major conflict of interest. During this visit, she also put in our offer amount incorrectly - $9,000 less than we'd agreed to pay - and almost lost us the house to another interested buyer.

She was extremely responsive and NEVER made us feel like we were asking a dumb question or being too picky. At our first meeting Aline told us she loves working with first-time buyers and, after our experience, I believe it. I can't imagine that's the easiest thing to love as first-time buyers are usually the most stressed and worried about their decision, but working with Aline made me realize she really does want to get everyone into their home and will work to make it happen on each party's terms. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Aline to all buyers and will check back in with her if we are ever looking to buy again.

We talked with Mike at length to find out his plans and interest level before listing our Palouse property with him. We gave him a chance... much longer than we should have! but ended up wasting a year before we listed with another realtor while he left our property untouched.

I've had their staff yell at me, hang up on me, and threaten me when I've called with honest questions about billing or updating records. This behavior is unacceptable given how much I fork over to them in rent each month for a unit that doesn't have a single conforming bedroom (there is no door and no closet!).

Does not care at all about tenets, and treats you like an inconvenience when you reach out with…read moreconcerns or issues. Absolutely horrible treatment. Here's my wife and I's experience (rented for 1.5 years): Maintenance entered our building without notifying us and then left our back door open and front door unlocked in the winter, jeopardizing our sense of safety. We reached out to Team Idaho because we were mortified and management would not take any responsibility for this and instead made excuses and would not acknowledge our concerns. When pressed further they offered to make it right, but then never responded to our request, which was an extension to resign our lease. Instead, they cancelled our lease renewal, kicking us out and never responded to any of our emails regarding this treatment. They took as much of our deposit as possible, massive fees for 'not keeping the utility bill under our name' when it actually was, and when I called the city to verify this and sent them proof they make new reasons for taking your money. I have NEVER been treated this horrible by any company let alone a property management company. All of this treatment was from the supervisor, Merida. I should also mention during this time that my wife was pregnant and they had absolutely no care for our well being, safety, and trust. This company only views tenets as an expendable monthly income, and not as people. I would not recommend them to anyone. They think all their renters are naive college students and they make a business out of taking advantage of them. Being a local, I highly advise anyone reading this to look at other options.

By following his advice, we've made quite a bit of money in real estate profits over the past few years. In addition, he helped us find the perfect piece of Palouse paradise, gave us recommendations for builders (the one we chose is wonderful!) and helped us find a credit union who did a creative loan so we could buy the property before selling our home. Mike sold our friend's home in 1 day for $10,000 over list price. He sold our home in 1 day, for full price, in the middle of a pandemic. Kathryn did an amazing job helping us stage our home as well. What sets Mike apart, in our opinion, is the way he gives advice. He thinks things through, does his research and gives an answer based on facts, not predictions. As a result, his listings sell immediately while comparable homes sit on the market for days and weeks. We know if Mike tells us something, it's accurate because we've seen his statements proved true over and over again. We highly recommend not picking a Realtor because they're a friend of a friend or someone you went to school with. Pick someone because they know what they are doing and have a proven sales record. You won't be sorry!
