    I know this sounds a little over the top, but these guys are the best service company of any kind I…read morehave ever done business with. My wife and I own about 80 acres of forest land which we have owned for many years. During that time we worked with several different foresters to get advice about managing the property. They were all fine, but we never really got a feeling we had an expert partner helping us with the property. That all changed when we brought in Luke Machtolf of Northwest Management. We sat down together and talked about what we wanted to do with the property. We then paid them to prepare a management plan which turned out to be a detailed, professional study of our property which explained in lay terms what we had, what the problems were, and what their recommendations were on how to get where we had said we wanted to be. This recommendation was substantially different than what we had received from our prior forester and was fully supported in the plan. Luke also showed us on the ground what he was talking about in the plan. We then hired NMI to do a cruise of the property, which resulted in a detailed estimate of both the volume of timber on the property and a detailed summary of what we could likely sell the timber for if we followed their recommendation, what our logging and related costs would be, what our reforestation and other costs would be, and what we would net from the project. We took Luke's advice on how to proceed and Luke then brought in a logger (see related review for Rich Richmond Logging in Chewelah) who did just an outstanding job. Luke supervised that project and held our hands the whole way as we worked through a number of different issues that came up (mostly neighbor issues) during the course of the project. NMI administered the financial end of the project and provided us with readable periodic reports showing the timber sale proceeds, payment of the logger and other expenses, and our net proceeds. All of this was done very timely and exactly as promised. At the end of the project the financial projections were perfectly in line with the estimates Luke had given us many months before. We view Luke and NMI as our long term partners as we continue to manage this property over the next decades and we just could not be happier with their work or the outcome. We were stunned to see how much better the property looked, even though we ended up taking off far more trees than we would have ever expected to harvest. Great financial results and an improvement to the property both now, and in the future as we grow stronger, disease resistant trees which are better suited to the property. If you are looking for someone to work with you to manage your forest land these are the guys you want.

    Does not care at all about tenets, and treats you like an inconvenience when you reach out with…read moreconcerns or issues. Absolutely horrible treatment. Here's my wife and I's experience (rented for 1.5 years): Maintenance entered our building without notifying us and then left our back door open and front door unlocked in the winter, jeopardizing our sense of safety. We reached out to Team Idaho because we were mortified and management would not take any responsibility for this and instead made excuses and would not acknowledge our concerns. When pressed further they offered to make it right, but then never responded to our request, which was an extension to resign our lease. Instead, they cancelled our lease renewal, kicking us out and never responded to any of our emails regarding this treatment. They took as much of our deposit as possible, massive fees for 'not keeping the utility bill under our name' when it actually was, and when I called the city to verify this and sent them proof they make new reasons for taking your money. I have NEVER been treated this horrible by any company let alone a property management company. All of this treatment was from the supervisor, Merida. I should also mention during this time that my wife was pregnant and they had absolutely no care for our well being, safety, and trust. This company only views tenets as an expendable monthly income, and not as people. I would not recommend them to anyone. They think all their renters are naive college students and they make a business out of taking advantage of them. Being a local, I highly advise anyone reading this to look at other options.

They already charged me for rent then said it was for the last month after I asked. If you can avoid renting from them then do yourself a favor. SCAM.

    Generally rude customer service. They office doesn't seem to have things together, and they are…read morereally overpriced for the area. When I moved in (late because my apartment wasn't "ready yet" and I had to pay for additional storage) the apartment was filthy. They sent some teenagers to come clean it again, it was still filthy. I ended up having to mop/dust/clean it myself before unpacking. Completely unapologetic about the entire situation. Oh, and your rent will go up every year for absolutely no apparent reason. Refused to give me a copy of my lease upon renewal unless I paid for it. Any communication with them must be over email, they will deny anything said/agreed upon over the phone. They will also ignore your emails. Somehow they decided that the owner of the property would be the go-to for everything, even though I didn't have a lease signed with them. Having the owner come down and ask me if I am "f***ing retarded" was ridiculous. They also make up the need for paint-repairs when you move out. TAPE EVERYTHING. Take photos of everything. Do whatever you can to rent with another property company. This place is a nightmare. Even the professors in my program tell students to not rent here.

They took our son's $2000 deposit PLUS sent him a bill for an additional $4804 for miscellaneous bogus items like a dirty sink, floor, and fridge. Look at their Goggle reviews. They all say the same terrible things. As we found out by talking to 2 lawyers, they are the only ones going to make any money, so sad, so the scamming will carry on by this company.
