I thought I would be sitting waiting for at least 4 hrs. Its was about 1 hour and I was called in. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well, but the nurses and Dr took very good care of me. I had pneumonia didnt even know it. I was treated with the upmost care. From transport to food service, imaging reps to blood work reps , nurses on the floor were all great. Southside has improved a lot. I would recommend this hospital for care.

(That is what you would want, no?) but Dr. Leftkowitz was thorough, friendly, humorous and highly-skilled. Danielle, his assistant was incredibly comforting, sweet and professional in every way. Experienced, compassionate, and such a wonderful human being. Felt like an "old" friend. A great team and I am so thankful I had them. Because this issue was not treated properly in the past by others,( it had gone deeper) it was a long, timely procedure, but I felt reassured in their competence in removing all the cancer cells. Had to have the plastic surgeon, Dr. Singer suture up the wound but he took the time to make the best decision in what would cosmetically look best and promote the proper healing. It was a large wound and required numerous stitches, but I felt confident in his decision-making.
