(due to nearly identical addresses), the responses were rude and unprofessional. I paid over $20,000 and still have not received a final itemized statement. Work quality is just as bad--poor roof support, ongoing leaks, and issues they tried to dismiss as "pre-existing" after covering them up with new siding and Sheetrock. I assure you, there were no leaks previous to this minor fire. This has been a costly, frustrating mess. Avoid this company.

Because of the complexity and coordination with the flooring company, we chose to work with both because of their previous partnerships. While they were at it, we asked them for a few extras like painting our bedrooms, installing new the faucet and instant on hot water tap, and painting and cabinet work for the effected kitchen island. There were some challenges along the way. You should expect some. The good news is that Aaron was extremely responsive and attentive to each concern. He starts his mornings earlier, and responds quickly. They completed their work on time, the rooms look great, and the updated kitchen island is outstanding.

I contracted with the Conway branch for roof, siding and paint on my house. I was assured that…read morethey would use expert installers that worked for them. Roofers did a good job but it went downhill from there. The first siding installers messed it up completely and severely damaged the front and rear doors, and damaged the new roofing edges by leaning ladders against it. First Star sent a second crew that tore off and replaced the siding but couldn't fix the doors. They even replaced the front storm door but it still wouldn't work right because the doorframe was sprung. Then the power wash crew came out but didn't have a power washer. They had to go to Home Depot and buy one. Wanted to quit 2/3 of the way through because they didn't bring any fuel for it. I put my own gas in it for them to finish. When the paint crew showed up they didn't even have any ladders and had to use mine. They didn't caulk the gaps as promised. First Star had no qualms about leaving a 75 year old man to caulk siding and touch up paint, and repair doors and doorframes so the doors will actually close and latch. Plus I'm still picking up chunks of fiber cement siding, nails, and shards of aluminum soffit from the yard. It's not like they were pressed for time. Started in October, finished in August. You'd be better off going to Home Depot early in the morning and picking your own crews. Probably would get better results.

Then after 3 months I called on Monday as usual and the sweet receptionist said the restoration guy dropped the claim after submitting an unethical claim and he thought it would reflect poorly on their business. Instead of calling me and letting me know they wouldn't do the work, I had to pet it out of them. Very poor communication, organization and morals. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Because we were already out of state, we had to scramble to find someone else to clean on short notice so our realtor could show the house. Despite their no‑show and the financial impact it caused, the owner refused to issue a refund. Despite trying to remove the spam, I still get spam "promotions" from this co all the time which has reminded me of the poor experience. This was a very bad experience I still get reminded of.

CARPET MEDICS not only showed up fast, he did an EXTREMELY AMAZING JOB. He really worked hard to remove the stains, the dirt and the smell. when he finished it looked like new carpet. I have used them 5 times and every time I get the SAME GREAT INCREDIBLE QUALITY! I did a lot of inquiry, making sure they had all the necessary professional equipment. The man who came out owns the company, and did a tremendous job cleaning the carpets. They were really bad and I thought we were probably going to have to replace them, but they look new again. Wonderful job, professional equipment, good service, and the guy knows what he's doing and took his time to make sure the job was well done. He didn't try to upsell me on all kinds of stuff I didn't need, which was great as well. He did the entire house and was in and out in just over an hour. At the great price I got from them, I will probably not put off cleaning carpets as long as I had before, and might make it a yearly thing as I think I'm supposed to.

I called AMCO the the morning after Christmas and the were the the same day early afternoon. Robert was the project lead. He was able to to restore water with supplies he had on his truck. He was prompt with the estimate and kept me updated. He has been a pleasure to work with during the project. I hope this never happens again but my first call is to AMCO and Robert
