Our tenants were very impressed with how hard the crew worked --even when it was raining and hailing. The property looks beautiful now, except that it is growing season and the acre of grass is already needing another mow! Ramon (the owner) promised to get to that next week. We also needed a few old plants removed from too close to the cabin to prepare for foundation work and to prevent insects/pests. It was a lot of work. Ramon's team did a very thorough job at a reasonable price, and they hauled away the debris from the vines & plants. Since I could not be at the cabin that day, Ramon sent me 4-5 photos of the entire yard to show the finished work and he sent a scanned invoice. It was quite late so I decided to google to find a roof repair person and call them in the morning. I used yelp and found MCS roofing. They had good reviews so I called them first thing in the morning Marlon was able to come out by 9:30 am (Friday) to check out the roof. When he arrived, he gave me his business card and introduced himself. He took off his shoes to see where the water was coming down inside the house. It had stopped dripping by this point, and I lucked out that Friday was a dry day. Then he went outside. I have a 3 story taller/skinny house. He was able to anchor his ladder so he could safely go onto my roof and check it out. Marlon found 2 vents on my roof were damaged. One was cracked so bad it was allowing water to go into my house. He showed me pictures of what was wrong, we discussed payment (by check) and he headed out to quickly buy a replacement. I ended up having him replace both damaged ones. He supplied me with plenty of pictures before and after so I could try and do a homeowner's insurance claim. He was done within 1 hour 30 mins or so. He agreed to come back in a week to inspect for interior damage in the attic area. He came by today as planned and got into my attic. He took a few pictures and I could see only a small wet spot, that was drying already so there was no need for additional repairs. I also asked him if he had a flooring guy he could recommend, and he did give me the number of his friend. I was very impressed with how fast Marlon could help me and the high quality of work Marlon did and would hire him again anytime!

When I called to ask why he canceled with little warning, he said he didn't like listening to the home owners asking him to wear a mask or remove their shoes. He said he didn't wear masks and it was America so he had the freedom to do what he wanted.
