I spoke with Matt and then met with him at their model home. He spent time answering my questions, providing objective data regarding how my home would look from a financial stand point, how long their process would take, and providing information on interest rates and comps in the area. Matt made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Brookers don't (but should), like having his assistant Andrea work closely with me to ensure the process was effectuated. I purchased a new construction property with Ryan Homes and was offered additional incentives to use their preferred lender NVR Mortgage. There are so many advantages to using a mortgage company associated with the builder because everyone involved in the process knows each other on a first name basis. This allowed the process to flow so smoothly, and whenever there was a question about a document or additional information needed I would get an email or call from Andrea (my loan processor) or from Meghan (home sales rep) to explain what was needed and why. They kept me on track to complete the process on time, and get me into my home on the scheduled date. This was not my first home purchase, so I know how intrusive it can seem whenever someone picks apart every aspect of your personal financial life, but I knew that they were so thorough that there would be nothing left to question at my closing. To this day I call Matt to ask questions about current interest rates, whether is makes sense to refinance, or just to see if something I received in the mail about a mortgage offer is legit. I purchased home through RyanHome, and getting mortgage service through NVR Mortage had several advantages. 1. They are part of NVR parent company, so the entire home purchasing process was seamless. Communication among NVR team including sales, mortgage and settlement was smooth and I did not have to be the coordinator. 2. Competitive rate. I shopped around for costs and rate, but NVR's offer was the most competitive. 3. You can reach the office w/o any automated intro. Matt Zuczek was my loan officer, and I am pleased with his service as he was friendly and professional. He's easy to reach via text messages and emails. When he was not available, I left him voice message, and he got back to me within reasonable time frame. Our experience with NVR mortgage was great! As first time buyers, we really didn't have a lot of insight into the whole mortgage experience. We first started out with our local bank but the whole process was so clinical and impersonal and they were not very patient with us because we were so new to the process. NVR was very reliable company. I personally went to 5 mortage companies when I bought the house to make sure I get the lowest Interest Rate i could possible get. They offered me most convenient ways on settlement, very thorough explanation about the entire process and better interest rate.
