I just had the BEST FACIAL EVER. I got a groupon for a Microdermabrasion facial. Having never done…read moreit before I had no idea what to expect. It was SOOO much more than just a microdermabrasion. It was heaven. There was a blueberry acid peel, then a facial massage, then the microdermabrasion, then extractions, another face and shoulder massage, one of those insanely expensive fabric masks, another face massage, pure oxygen facial and then I was done. I floated out of there never wanting to put a drop of make up on my face again. But the best part? The amazing Kate, of Kate SPA, showed me the pad from the microdermabrasion. She was like, look at what I got out of your skin.... OMG. It was amazing. On the tissue was a little fluffy pile of dirt. About the size of a dime, beige in color... It was truly an alarming ton of crap that had previously been in my face. IN. MY. FACE. Seeing it out there in the world was glorious and liberating. Now, I wash my face twice a day. I have one of those clarisonic brushes. I am currently on a two mask a week pre-wedding regimen (both interestingly enough, green) both of which detoxify and clean out my pores.I know they do. I see the difference after I use them. But I also live in a city filled with cars and people and all their gunk, and I haven't yet started wearing a Hazmat suit when I go out in public to protect my skin (the thought has crossed my mind.) However, like a long awaited vindication, on the pad on the tissue was all this stuff that this magic wand had pulled out of my face. It was pure bliss. I'm hooked.

Many of my SF friends started seeing her to and would rave about how good her facials were. She completely transformed my skin!! I can't recommend her enough. Not only is she fantastic when it comes to skin, she is the sweetest person and an absolute gem! She recently moved to Vegas and I will definitely come see her every time I'm there!!

That is actually not the case, and we were able to get our services here and enjoy the amenities here. Our pedicures were absolutely amazing and Z and D did a fantastic job! April was also incredible attentive and helpful with our experience. We really enjoyed the steam room, sauna and cold dip, but the massive hot tub takes the cake! It was so relaxing to have such a large hot tub where you can submerge up to your shoulders while standing! We also were able to unexpectedly enjoy a fantastic lunch at the spa. At check in we asked if we could order lunch and we were told we there was no spa restaurant and they recommended walking down to the food court. However, luckily we found information indicating that there was in fact a way to order lunch to the spa and we had a nice lunch. Overall a fantastic experience and a great hidden gym. The advertising and website of this place truly does it a disservice and doesn't show how fantastic it is.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived (which was fine) so we sat and waited while we chatted. When we were finally greeted, the man was very rude to us. He asked if we had an appointment and we said no. He told us they were busy and we should come back when we make an appointment, which we understood. We were about to leave when he told us to hold on and begin setting up the ionic foot soak section. While he was setting up our section, my boyfriend asked if he could explain the process since it looks differently than we imagined and it was our first experience. He completely ignored his question and mentioned again how we need to make an appointment next time. I understand the inconvenience it might have caused him and we were more than willing to leave and come back another day. However professionalism goes a long way. Not sure if we'll be coming back.

I've consistently had great experiences here, which is why I've continued supporting this business for so long. The therapists I've worked with have always been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to listen to my concerns before each session and tailor the treatment accordingly. I always leave feeling significantly better than when I walked in, and that's why I've remained a loyal customer for so many years. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers, especially members, was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it. It's unfortunate because the quality of the massages has never been the issue. I sincerely hope they reconsider this policy, because it's the one thing that's making me think twice about continuing as a member.

The pros: The facility is modern and clean with a lot of amenities including various hot tubs, steam and dry sauna, ice room, hot stone lounge chairs, quiet room to rest, salt room, and lounge area. They also host an Aufguss sauna experience every hour in their entertainment sauna room. The snacks and drinks were delicious which included mini muffins, mini cookies, nuts, bananas, teas, coffee, and sparkling and still water. The staff is friendly, professional, and approachable. They were great about cleaning up the areas and restocking towels, snacks, and shower amenities. My massage was really great from Misty as well. I highly recommend booking your service as soon as possible. The cons: let's start off with the overstimulating, loud environment in the shared co-ed spaces from everyone talking like they are at happy hour. It's hard to relax and enjoy the supposed spa ambiance around crowds of people who are all talking loudly. The noise amplifies and echoes inside. They need to limit the number of guests and tell people they can only talk in the sitting area outside. They crack down on phone use (which I feel should be allowed as long as people are not talking on the phone) but don't tell guests to be quiet. The locker rooms need more than a small bench in each section. It's only big enough for 1-2 people. The showers need to have hooks or hangers for our towels and robes. Note: it is less busy after 3-4pm so if you want to enjoy the spa in peace and with minimal people, go after that time. I took these pictures around 6pm. After paying over $300, I want to feel like I'm at a spa, not another bar on the Strip. If Lapis Spa can work on controlling the noise level, I'd consider returning.

I liked doing the cold plunge after the sauna and napping in the heated chairs. I didn't like that they didn't have bathroom amenities like hair dryers and razors out and available. I feel like they should just provide them without us having to ask. However, the massage I got was incredible and the best part. I have to give a shout out to Henry. I have chronic pain and was suffering from a flare up when I visited. The pain relief I got from the massage was so great that it made me cry. He knew all the areas on my back and arms I was feeling pain without me telling him and he used just the right pressure to relieve the muscles. I hadn't felt that good and relaxed in years. Thank you so much! I wouldn't go back just for the spa but I will definitely go back every time I visit for a massage and spa. We already booked our next trip and will be staying at Fountainebleau for this!
