The pedicure chair is a nightmare, and if you turn it on (most regular customers don't) you might be in need of chiropractic services. Let's face it after 10 years maybe 15 they need to be replaced. I no longer see the regular customers that I have seen before. They are slowly one by one leaving. There used to be people waiting (walk-ins) today I am not seeing it. There is a greasy spoon (restaurant) next which attracts flies by the hundreds. I left my car window down one day last month while at the salon for 2 hours, upon my return my dog had been snacking on flies and of course there were flies in the car. I was told today when I told Tracy I wanted the same thing I had the other week. I had her use a base polish for a french manicure with was not pink but a translucent beige with the normal white tip. She told me she couldn't use that because you can't mix regular polish with gel. THAT WAS A LIE according to Google. You can't mix the two in a bottle but You can put the polish on and let it dry then use the gel product and put your hand in the UV light machine. I will go back tomorrow and get this fixed. I am a little fed up at this point. Did she misplace the polish I brought in? And how much longer should I put up with those pedicure chairs. Heart broken, and fed up in Clemmons.

Fully own that I'm a pain in the a** when it comes to my nails - I never remember what type tips I like, am super picky about the thickness of the gel/acrylic/yadda-yadda, and hate when they just schlop on a TON of product without explaining crap first, leaving you with 20-lbs nails that take half your finger with them if/when the nail breaks. Not only did Sue explain the different types of tips to ensure I got what I wanted, but the application was flawless and she made them just the right thickness that they almost look like my natural nails!! In love - they're a hike from me, but I'll definitely be returning!!!!

I originally gave this nail salon 5 stars, but after my most recent visit I have to back it down…read more I first visited this salon in June of 2015 and was taken care of by Tony. He was awesome...The most thorough person that I had EVER had do my SNS nails. I returned every few weeks for my fill-ins through December. Only once did I not make an appt and had my nails done by Kevin. As nice as he was, I was not impressed with the way my nails looked. I called for an appointment recently to find out that Tony was no longer there. I was told that Kevin was available. Reluctantly I made the appointment. I had previously gone out of town and had pink and white SNS done. Kevin asked what I wanted and I told him just pink, no white, which was exactly the fill-in he did. Of course, the white was still on my nail because it wasn't completely removed. I was charged $30. When I got home and looked at the price list, I should've only been charged $25 for the pink fill-in. The entire time my nails were being done, Kevin was talking about $. I feel like he finds a way to get a little more out of people. And a week later, my nails look like crap! My business will definitely no longer be given to Unique Nails. I would LOVE to find Tony!!! I guess until then I will have to pay a little more to go to the salon near home.

She then turned me over to someone else. After 2 1/2 hours, my nails are 75% completed my nails are pink rather than white and I remind her that was not what I asked for. English was not her first language so conversation went back-and-forth between my Manicurist and the owner, problem enough.... I don't understand what is being said... the possible solution when a lovely patron decides to inform me that it wasn't nice to inform the manicurist that I wasn't happy with what was being done to my nails.. I had been rude in bringing the color issue to the manicurist attention (it's unchristian) and as her daughter was in the shop, she was using me as an example for her daughter of the kind of behavior not to exhibit in that situation. All the while .... the owner has apparently decided the original manicurist should continue trying to fix the nail color which I eventually point out remains pink. The owner eventually steps in again and corrects the situation and I leave with my nails completed, but nothing else, but please. I bet you're thinking it's the end, oh no. Before I go my oh so gracious teaching mother loudly states as I'm washing my hands that she is willing to pay for my services. I'm thinking... Oh!!! Really!! She's a regular so I thanked her and said no but I did bless her for pointing out my unchristian like behavior today and left. I don't think this salon and I are a good match.
