Logged back into the site - no appointments showing. I called them to try to see what's going on, no answer. Left a voicemail about an hour ago trying to figure out my appointment time and if I was even actually on the books. No call back. Tried to book it again, and the site was being glitchy. Tried to close out and book from the very beginning, and I get an error message that I've exceeded the maximum number of requests to try again in 12 hrs. About to call one more time, but I'm betting I'm not going to get through. I was really looking forward to trying this place :(

I appreciate it that they have washed my hands when I arrive. They also showed off the room where they sanitize all the equipment. You get to choose your scrub and lotion sent as well as your color. I was going to get the spa manicure but they were running late so I just got the basic one. The technician did a wonderful job on my nails. She made sure I was happy with the color before she painted them. She created a custom color based on what I was looking for. I would definitely come back the next time I need my nails done.

I came in for a removal of polish on my fingernails…read more The last time I came in I asked for polish that would last for 4 weeks. The manicurist suggested the powder dip procedure. They put on 4 layers of polish and that stayed on just as promised. Today I decided I wouldn't be able to get this much polish off my nails myself so I came back to have the polish removed. Manicurist was very patient and kind as it took a bit of time to sand and soak my fingernails. He offered me a drink of soda or wine when I asked. Note, they don't serve coffee here which was something I was hoping for. Oh well, I settled for a coke. The people here are so friendly, polite and helpful and the setting is very quiet with some peaceful background music. Its a perfect way to relax. Prices are reasonable and in line with the competition and sometimes cheaper as well. They also have a point system. For every hundred points you receive $5 off your next purchase. Today I spent $10 for color removal and cut. Not bad considering. The shop is in a frequently visited location off Countryclub and Peace haven called Club Haven shops. Plenty of places to check out here after or before your nail appt. This remains my go to nail salon and they always take walk ins.

I tried everything I could to resolve the issue, because I prefer to leave positive or helpful words when I can here. But bad service is bad service. When I come here, I go in and allow whoever is free to do my nails because I usually have a great experience regardless. But twice now, I have been given to someone who isn't ready to be doing nails. The first time I was serviced, months ago, all of my nails hurt SO badly for 3-4 days. He drilled over my skin continuously. But when I went in yesterday, I decided to give him a second shot. I regret that so much. All of my fingers were cut and bleeding. I told him he was hurting me and he said it's just hot. And kept on drilling. I started to dissociate at that point. They hurt so bad. The acrylic set (brand new) that he applied was so badly done. I thought I might be over reacting so I asked some others and they all agreed that the nails were absolutely terrible and I should go get them fixed. I'm not one for confrontation, but they hurt so bad and we're too thick to use for anything. As you can see in photos. I am always patient and forgiving and leave good tips, so I expected the shop to hear my complaint and help me out. They said on the phone when my friend called for me, that they'd make it right if I came in in person to discuss it. So I did. I drove the 28 minutes to get there, they said they were too busy to help me, and said they'd issue a full refund but they had to call the card merchant first. I said ok, left my info, and went on. They did not offer to fix, replace, or give me any tips for healing my nails and skin. They called me later to tell me that their boss told them not to refund me, that they'd give me half off, and tried to convince me that I had an acrylic allergy and wasn't cut. They said "we are poor so no refund." And "it happens so oh well" I get it. Business is hard. But as a loyal long time customer, I just wanted to be treated kindly. When I went to another stylist in a different shop she was appalled at the state of my nails and skin. She kept apologizing that this happened to me, and noted how badly cut my skin was over and over. She could not fix the nails they were so badly done, had to remove them all, before she could treat the skin underneath and apply a new set. I am so so exhausted after all of this. I wish I had better things to say. I tried to resolve via email first and never got a response. If you go here, make an apt with one of the experienced stylists. Or you know, just don't.

I was offered a beverage and requested white wine. I was served a very generous pour in a real wine glass (no plastic cup here). I believe it was the owner who did my pedicure and it was AMAZING! He gave me the best pedicure I've had in a long time. They also have new pedi chairs that are so relaxing! I recommend Dejavu Nail Salon. I wish I lived closer to be able to go on a regular basis. I had two different people work on me: one for my hands, one for my feet. And trust me, it was a tag-team disaster. Let's start with the lady who did my nails. She was friendly, I'll give her that--but that's about where the good part ends. I asked for a manicure, and halfway through, I realized she was just doing my nails with no sign of an actual manicure. When I asked, she casually told me, "You don't need manicure," then explained that if you get acrylic, you don't get a manicure. I'm sorry... what? Since when are the two mutually exclusive? I requested French tips with two different colors on each nail. She said that wasn't possible because they'd "blend together." (Pretty sure nail artists do this all the time but OK.) She insisted on doing a cat eye design instead. The cat eye came out nice--but the polish job overall? A complete mess. Uneven, lumpy, sloppy... just look at the photos. Now, onto Lady #2--the one who did my pedicure. She was younger, not friendly at all, and weirdly aggressive. She scrubbed the inside of my ankles multiple times (yes, you read that right). I kept pulling my feet back and she never once paused or apologized. Who doesn't know the ankles are not the soles? Then, when applying the gel polish, she dropped the dryer right on my wet toes--not once, but twice. She fixed the toe she smudged but continued to just slam the dryer down like we were in some sort of speed challenge. The massage that was supposed to be included? Nearly nonexistent. My feet were still rough, and she only used two hot stones. It was giving "bare minimum." Final bill? $75. Final result? A mess. I called to request a refund and was told they don't do refunds, but I could "come back so they could fix it." Why would I go back to the same people who already butchered the job? That makes zero sense. I even disputed the charge with my bank, but--lucky me--they denied it. Three days later, I found a real nail tech, paid $80, and finally got nails worth being seen in public. I was broke afterward but at least I looked cute. Bottom line: I left with sore ankles, messed-up nails, and a burning desire to never return. Do yourself a favor--go literally anywhere else.

She then turned me over to someone else. After 2 1/2 hours, my nails are 75% completed my nails are pink rather than white and I remind her that was not what I asked for. English was not her first language so conversation went back-and-forth between my Manicurist and the owner, problem enough.... I don't understand what is being said... the possible solution when a lovely patron decides to inform me that it wasn't nice to inform the manicurist that I wasn't happy with what was being done to my nails.. I had been rude in bringing the color issue to the manicurist attention (it's unchristian) and as her daughter was in the shop, she was using me as an example for her daughter of the kind of behavior not to exhibit in that situation. All the while .... the owner has apparently decided the original manicurist should continue trying to fix the nail color which I eventually point out remains pink. The owner eventually steps in again and corrects the situation and I leave with my nails completed, but nothing else, but please. I bet you're thinking it's the end, oh no. Before I go my oh so gracious teaching mother loudly states as I'm washing my hands that she is willing to pay for my services. I'm thinking... Oh!!! Really!!
