I will admit I was a little hesitant on coming here to do my hair because it's a small family salon and I've had bad experiences with other small salons. I needed my hair done but did not want to pay those high end prices! I called and got a quote for $45-55 to color, cut, and style my hair. Be prepared to wait some time because they do get crowded but they try to accommodate everyone quickly. I went and wanted to remove my highlights and cut my shoulder length hair into a choppy bob. So I went in for me and my daughter to have a fairly basic cut. Nope, I asked for a long layered cut with a long bang cut in the front. She totally butchered my 8year olds hair. The layers are literally in the top of her crown. I asked for a simple trim and a long bang she did the bang fine but as I came home and showered it's completely crooked. It a blunt not straight cut and not at all blended. It looks like I cut it myself. And on top of that for two cuts it was 45$ umm no! I don't If your thinking of going here don't! This was the first time I went to this place and it was because my sister told me it was a good and cheap place. I am never coming here again. They are so unprofessional with their children running around and screaming and complaining. They have food and dirt on the floor and it is just completely uncomfortable to be in that state when trying to get your hair cut. The woman who cut my hair didn't seem to even know how to cut hair correctly and when she finished cutting it she curled it without even asking, and usually your hair is suppose to be wet after a cut because it's easier to cut but she didn't even wet it. She was really patient with him and even at one point I got frustrated because he wouldn't sit still and couldn't get him to get the haircut I pictured him in. I would double check their prices because the quote I was given for 1 service was higher than the quote that the lady next to me got (in Spanish) for 3 services. The place is new and still starting out but they have a LONG way to go. The floor is very dirty & unkept so are the seats & lounge ish area visible from the salon chairs... I came in to get a haircut and Erica did my cut. I showed her a picture and she came through with what I wanted. She was nice and professional and did a nice job on my haircut. She also blow dried it after she cut it cause she wer it before. Even when I wanted it a little shorter than she cut it, she went back and cut it more to my satisfaction. The only constructive criticism I have to give is that the place wasn't that clean/tidy. They could definitely use some renovation. Finally found a quality hair place that doesn't charge a ridiculous amount for a simple hair cut. Woman who cut my hair did a fantastic job making sure my hair was evenly cut and trimmed. I felt really bad because I read that credit cards are accepted but it was cash only. Had to run to the liquor store in the mall to get cash, but the stylist was patient and courteous. I came to this place after a recommendation from my mom. I have gotten my hair cut here before and it was fine. Today I went to dye my hair and I asked her for a dirty BLONDE color. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she ended up putting highlights and toner in my hair. That is not what I asked for. I live 45 mins away and when I get home and notice my hair is lighter up top and three different colors in general. No what I asked for at all. When I call back and ask for the person who did my hair they said she was gone and no one else could help me. I will never come back to this location. I drove by and noticed a new salon, I was hesitant to walk in at first because it was new and I only saw two women working. I'm use to getting my haircut by men. I'm glad I did walk in, the service was great and I received a great haircut! It looked just as good as when my regular barber cuts my hair. Fresh fade at a good price.
