Myself and my family have been several times to Jacme over the past three years for check ups and…read morehad very good service at Jacme. I have been for usual checks and scale treatments. Over a year ago I some work to prolong the life of a couple of crowns that pervious dentists had just wanted to replace, Hundreds of pounds I don't have so they saved me cosmetically and financial pain. Over the weekend a different crown thats 16 years old came out OMG!. I googled the phone number first thing today came here and read the previous comments before I went to Jacme today (I was seen by a dentist only 35 mins after my call). So I asked Meriam and Jacob who are the husband and wife team at Jacme about these comments of poor service. They told me the dentist this referred to had been let go by them as his communication skills and manner he talked to patients in the chair was not to their standards/expectations. This led to some patients leaving their practise. They never said he was not technically good enough just his empathy and soft skills were very lacking. My 16 year old crown was all cleaned up re-fitted today for £18.00 I am very relived and confident they aim to do their best for patients and welcome any feedback.

Their payment policies are very transparent and the dentists are willing to debate what care you need .I am very satisfied with this practice and will continue to attend even though im not keen and do get a little flustered by having my teeth looked at but that is just my nervous reaction to dentists.

Reading your response is so inconsistent with the true facts to what happened to my husband whilst…read morein your care. We have documented receipts from the numerous meetings we had with your so called management team. In regard to his fractured wrist my daughter phoned the CPN to go in and look at her dad's wrist. Straight away she could tell it was damaged and as such needed an X-ray asap. I did bring a card, chocolate and flowers because I was under the misconception you were going to abide by your promise he would be given the care needed. You knew how upset he got when strangers tried to strip him off to shower him, hence the reason why I was upset to walk in and find hubby crying and distraught because you allowed two agency staff to do this. When questioned your G.M accused me of lying, shouting at me when doing so. She knew I wasn't lying but being her usual unprofessional self this was her usual form of defence. I admit I did stand at the door blocking her exit. My strategy being to make her answer my questions instead of removing herself from the situation as has happened in the past! I stand by my words the Manager and G.M leave a lot to be desired in regard to behaving like the professionals they should be. Care staff are beyond reproach in how they respected my husband, sadly, you didn't My husband is now safe, secure and looked after properly where he is now, not had one issue due to the fact it is run by professionals who care more about their residents than their ego!
