They also offer a lot of fresh and frozen seafood. You can find a lot of groceries from all over the word here. They also sell some home decor, some kitchenware, and live bamboo plants and an assortment of Asian Pots and Asian Ceramics. This isn't a fancy place and also seems a bit worn. When you walk in you can the remains of a restaurant that is no longer in business. This place is great but- There is so much stuff that it is actually hard to find the things that you are looking for. I also didn't notice signs to direct you to particular countries or even continents. The biggest problem with shopping here are the very tight aisles. If you see someone with a cart there isn't enough room to go around them. Checking out can be challenging for some because it is like a maze with all kinds of things in your way so you have to figure it out. They also have a lot of merchandise that you don't see it until you are on the way out.

Five Stars -- Outstanding Butcher Shop! Josh Nailed It on the First Attempt!…read moreI want to take a moment to recognize Josh at The Butcher Block on South Rainbow Boulevard for an absolutely outstanding experience. After a very disappointing experience with another butcher shop, I decided to give The Butcher Block an opportunity to earn my business. I had a very specific request for a custom blend of beef chuck and lamb shoulder, with precise meat-to-fat ratios, for making authentic Persian koobideh kebab. Josh listened carefully to my instructions, understood exactly what I wanted, and executed everything perfectly on the very first attempt! As far as I'm concerned, this shouldn't be rocket science. When you visit a professional butcher shop, you expect the butcher to understand different cuts of meat, fat percentages, proper grinding techniques, and how to prepare a mixture according to the customer's specifications. That's precisely what professional butchers are trained to do. Well, Josh absolutely nailed it! The finished product was exceptional. The meat was beautifully blended, the texture was perfect, and the kebabs turned out incredibly juicy, flavorful, and delicious. Every single skewer held together beautifully. The quality exceeded my expectations. I have previously reviewed another butcher shop that made promises it simply couldn't deliver. Those who have read my earlier review will understand exactly what I'm referring to. I have no intention of revisiting that experience here, because this review is about recognizing a business that genuinely deserves praise. The Butcher Block has earned my five-star rating and my future business. I would confidently recommend this location to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dependable butcher who listens to customers and delivers exactly what they request. Josh, thank you for your professionalism, your attention to detail, and most importantly, for listening and getting it right the first time. I will absolutely be returning for my future orders. Keep up the excellent work!

I also had one of their burgers and it was seriously good. You can definitely taste the difference when a burger is made with quality meat. The burgers alone are worth stopping in for. A friend introduced me to this company in an unusual way…read more I am a 'tardy' gift opener as a friend gave me this (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=6ukXFcEEusF1mhDFALKHnQ) as part of my Christmas gift. And it's already July now. I opened this bag and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. The coin shaped pieces reminded me of old time Chinese snack food haw flakes, but larger. The pieces were tender and perfectly seasoned, a balance of savory and sweet. I polished off the bag over three sittings of watching TV after work... not a good thing but those beef chips were darn good. My friends and I actually talked about this store in February or March as some of them were planning a trip to Vegas. They mentioned that this store was on their to do list in shopping for things to bring home. Isn't that always how it works, getting things that we can't get at home? Thanks to my friend for gifting this bag to me and it's now on my radar if I am out that way... not likely soon given that I haven't been to Vegas 2007. Maybe said friend will share again when he visits.

Pros: * many items made in Hawaii * many items Hawaiian inspired * small business owner who actually makes what they're selling at the store * Karen's cookies are boxed in a very durable cardboard box. Great to pack in your luggage without fear of broken cookies. Yes, there's an actual Karen. Cons: * off the beaten path tucked in a corner on the 3rd floor of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. If you take the hotel elevator to the 3rd floor, you've got to walk down the narrow hallway which leads you out to the store. Better to enter from the street by the donut store. Keep left to the escalator up to the 3rd floor. Why did I come twice in one day? 1) The first time I was curious about the beef jerky. I ended up buying the almond butter shortbread cookies after another customer talked it up. I passed on the jerky. Tried a cookie when I got home. Very snappy. 2) the second time I bought the bagel chips after a friend raved about how good they were. I bought the cinnamon ones and the Parmesan cheese flavored ones. They also have the broken bagel chips bagged for purchase. I'll definitely return as a repeat customer now that I'm aware of the store.

I tried it and really liked it because good Hong Kong style wonton noodles are hard to come by. Then I was reading the labels and found that it was actually made in Las Vegas! I finally made a trip to the Louie's Noodle Shop. It is easy to find and has its own parking lot. It is like a warehouse with a small office for taking orders upfront. The office is bright and clean. There are pictures on the wall to display the available products. They sell wide and thin wonton noodles, spinach noodles, ramen, rice noodles, steamed chow mein noodles, yellow oil noodles, E-mein, wonton wrappers, siu mai wrappers, potsticker wrappers, Shanghainess wonton wrappers, and fresh rice noodle rolls. My personal favorite is their wonton noodles, both thin and wide. The lady helping me was Cantonese speaking and was very nice and courteous. I was delighted to find that they sell fresh rice noodle rolls because the ones sold in the supermarkets are not always fresh. The ones here are made fresh daily. They are plain and do not have dried shrimps and scallions, and are a little thicker than I would prefer. But the texture is still nice and smooth. These rice noodle rolls are sold individually at $1 a piece. Prices are very reasonable. A pound of wonton noodles is $4.50. It is marked up to $5.59 if purchased at FuYue Market if you prefer not to make a trip out to Louie's. This place is cash only.
