I eat several times everyday -usually tasty and health foods- but when I have a meal prepared by Mike Betts, I am quieted in awe and appreciation. Refreshingly novel recipes, stunning presentation, and precious ingredients. In addition, the opportunities that I have had to interact with Mike have felt warm and engaging. Though obviously sharp and experienced, he didn't seem hesitate to let his passion for food show when I chatted with him in kitchen. He even taught me a few things! Recommend seems like the wrong term... Put this in your list of things to experience before you die, like see Machu Picchu, or listen to a symphony play your favorite classical piece.
