You never see anchovies offered, and I just don't understand it. They are so amazing on pizza! Oh my goodness - it did not disappoint, whatsoever. It's all about the dough, baby, and their dough was next level! It reminds me of a place in Baton Rouge growing up, called Fleur De Lis. They were Sicilian owned and had the best pizza. Just something about the dough. That yeasty, almost beer-battered aroma wafting from the dough. The sauce was good, toppings were good. I think I got mushroom, spinach and green peppers with the anchovies. I feel like it was literally the best topping option I could've possibly ordered. Upon our arrival we found a very small busy stand that serves only one flavor twist that changes daily and today's flavor was Vanilla/Chocolate Twist. The line moved very quickly and this is a cash only stand. The Ice Cream was OK, not much different than any other Ice Cream Stand I've had before. Cool little nostalgic type stand but not something I'd drive out of my way for again.
