They're made from simple and clean ingredients. The staff is so nice and they also work pretty quickly. They made too much of the cookies n cream smoothie to fit in my cup and instead of discarding the leftover, they saved it and refilled me once I'd drank enough to make room for the it. It's also a supplement store but I'm really only here for the smoothies so I can't review that part.

At first thought it was too sweet but after a few sips I was hooked. Also I caught a glimpse of their ingredients (e.g. the almond butter) and it looked like good quality almond butter (it's actually the same brand as the one we purchase for the house; Nuts to You). Would come try another smoothie from here again.

Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable, all weight lifters who have experience with what they're talking about. I haven't tried their protein shakes that they make there for you - there's a menu in the back and a blender but it isn't well advertised. Will check out next time.

( I totally understand the current situation regarding the Covid-19, but other online orders were still being delivered within their promised time frame and if they do not have orders in stock they would contact me to let me know and let me have the option to have the order cancelled and refund ). End of April and I called them to please refund my order since there are no way of them to let me know what is happening, called and spoke to customer service on Monday and was promised that the refund will be done within 2 days, a week later still no sign of refund, called again and was told they will look into my file and have "the best person that can help me" will call back within 5 mins., 2 hours later I am writing this review and no sign of any calls from them! -slightly different set-up than that of the Victoria's Health in downtown Vancouver, this outpost…read morehas the smoothie bar tucked into the back of the shop instead of the it being combined with the check out area. At the Lonsdale shop, one orders and receives a delightful smoothie of one's choosing, then walks up to the till at the front of the store to pay. Another wee difference is that this store has no seating. To compare the two shops a bit further, I found the North Van location to be a bit more laidback than the Victoria's on Hornby. I'd imagine that the Hornby shop also sees a ton more foot traffic and that, too, could make for a less relaxed atmosphere. I came for the smoothies, but for the vitamin/supplement head, this store would seem to have all you need. (If not, then there's a competing health food store just down the road & across the street.) Visitors from Vancouver: take the bus from the ferry terminal straight up the hill, or, if you're feeling particularly spunky, walk!
