Dr. Donnermeyer is one of the best chiropractors that has treated me. He is extremely thorough. I highly recommend his practice.

They use scare tactics and prey on the elderly, sick, and naive. How they do it is this-They offer a discount if you pay in full for said number of treatments.but what if you only need 3 adjustments? Then youve paid in full and you wont get youre money back. Also, they schedule most patients to come in 3 times a week. I was duped by them and convinced I had to come 3 times a week for 3 months. Other chiropractors that ive talked to, and ive talked to a lot, indist that 3 times a week is overkill and only suggested for those duffering from trauma like an accident or fall. At the required info session when I started it was all scare tactics and x-rays of a woman who had such severe problems when she stopped coming. This is probably a fictional character that doesn't even exist. The normal appointment eith Gateway s under 5 minutes and they crack everyone the same way. The rooms are set up like factory production. So in doing this they spend less time with patients, work less hours, and make more money. The way they run their business they can herd more people in and make maximum amount of money in the shortest amount of time. At first consultation you r shown your x-rays and you are asked to diagnose what stage of arthritis you are in. Lay people don't know how to read x-rays and who even knows if those r your actual x-rays? Most of us aren't schooled in reading xrays and what to look for, so how do we know? Also, none of the Gateway practitioners check your mobility at all. Any other chiropractor will check your mobilty and your whole. X rays are only taken if necessary. In October they gave what they call customers appreciation dinner. Sounds great right? What it is is more scare tactics and fear mongering and what you should be doing to be at your healthiest. So basically it's a scolding session. There was a man at the dinner who drank a lot of soda and he was picked on for that. During the dinner I was asked in front of a whole room of people how much I weigh. When is that ever appropriate? Even in jest? Then our food came but our waitress couldn't bring it until "baldy cowboy boots" was done talking. Then the a**hole left and didn't even eat with us. So it was a scare tactics brainwashing session. I've been doing a lot of research and talking to other chiropractors and PTs in the community. They have a terrible reputation among many. Dont go to these guys. Don't be brainwashed. It's Jim Jones all over again. Don't drink the Kool-aid (Flavor aid).
