It was recommended I consult with Dr. Tapplin to see if he could help me. The physical exam was rigorous, and extremely thorough. He used about a 20 different tests and figured out which tendon was injured and getting impinged and exactly why. He initially taught me flexibility exercises and later some stability type exercises. The treatment was comprehensive. Besides the exercises, he spent about 20-30 minutes working on different muscles and joints each visit. Mostly with a massage/stretching type procedure to the muscles. He also use some chiropractic type moves to increase mobility in my upper back, ribs and different shoulder joints. It took 5 visits and I continue to do the exercises he recommended, especially the flexibility exercises. Dr. Tapplin will be my first contact if I have any problems in the future.

A friend recommended Alex and I was able to get three appointments in prior to a hiking trip. At the very first visit, Alex zero'd in on possible foods that were causing inflammation due to my health history and started targeting weak areas that I should be working on, in addition to friction massage. Very holistic approach. I made some diet modifications, did the recommended exercises, and my hiking trip has been a huge success! Averaged 7-10 miles a day of moderate to strenuous hikes. Were my muscles sore? Absolutely! Was I experiencing the pain I had been? NO!! I'm so impressed and highly recommend.
