I felt very confident that the procedure decided upon was the correct one. Surgery went well with only a week downtime. I continue to heal and am on the right track for someone my age. I had many tests and xrays, but the cause for all of this was not found. Finally, my Doctor recommended I see Dr. John Renard, who is a Podiatrist and Foot Surgeon. His thorough examination of my foot and the decision to do surgery has made a huge difference. He found that a tendon had grown over the nerves on the top of my foot and was pressing on them. By removing the tendon and releasing the nerves, my foot and toe are doing so much better. I truly appreciate all he did for me and would highly recommend Dr. Renard if you are having difficulty with your ankles feet, or toes.
