My experience with Numotion was extremely positive. From the day that I met Val, St. Jude's physical therapist and Andrii, Numotion technician, they started the detailed process of getting an electric wheelchair. There were several months of down time before all the paperwork was approved. On July 8th, Nadine from NuMotion called and made arrangements to deliver the wheelchair. Nadine was personable and professional while demonstrating the wheelchair. She thoroughly went over all the features on the chair and constantly asked me if I had any questions during this whole transition. Nadine took time to adjust the wheelchair to fit my body and gave me safety tips on operating the chair. I would like to thank Val and Andrii again for all their efforts. And I thank Anna and the other staff members from the services department for their continued due diligence concerning my account. And an extra thanks to Nadine, whose knowledge and patience was much appreciated. This is the most poorly run business I've ever had to deal with. They only have one technician to service the entire city and it takes a month to get him to come out and when he arrives he complains about the parking situation as if that's my problem and his attitude is not good. I recently had an issue with some of his work, so I called their customer service and told them what the issue was and after talking with the manager several times-, I received a certified letter saying that since they weren't able to satisfy me they were going to terminate my account immediately! I had used this company for several years and my insurance company paid them more than one hundred fifty thousand dollars for two new wheelchairs and all the repairs and maintenance for them. So find any other company you can and don't use Numotion!!! read more

Literally the worst company. My brothers $8000 brand new wheel chair is falling apart in every way possible. They brought us a replacement wheel chair with NO ARMS. I have been texting Eder and Joseph the VP for weeks! Still haven't gotten arms, for my paralyzed brothers wheel chair. I have had to reschedule my appointments with Numotion 4 times due to there only being ONE TECHNICIAN to service my parts for my wheelchair that I NEED to save energy when pushing myself. This is the most unreliable company I have ever had to deal with. I say deal with because it has been years of this behavior with this company and nothing is being done to fix the productivity or customer service they provide their guests. I have a very busy schedule and they don't allow any time to work around it other than one day a week. don't expect to get your parts fixed in a timely matter... and if you schedule a home visit, it's probably going to be cancelled day of. That's the other thing, I never know what time the tech will be here (if he ever decided to show up to work) and so I sit around waiting for nothing. Received my new wheelchair May 29th with a broken armrest release lever, the wrong hand wheels, and a severe shimmy in the front wheels. It's now been over three weeks and I still don't have the replacement parts or the wheel shimmy issue resolved. They just keep saying well talk to the delivery team and nothing gets done. this Wheelchir Company I have a product liability lawsuit and the works. I paid for electric wheelchair that flipped from the first two months I got it. It flipped over they promised to replace it and never did kept giving me a loaner or runaround. then I needed a new manual wheelchair so they sent me to another company called spin life spin life as a sister Company not knowing it to Numotion. I paid $3888 cash for a wheel Custom wheelchair this custom wheelchair the first one they sent me the serial numbers didn't even match up to what I ordered and paid for when I got it appraised. They said it was a $800 off the shelf Wheelchair buy another appraiser.. they tried to burn me for over $3000 The second one they sent me was also a $1000 Wheelchair with parts that did not match to what I ordered our pieces to be welded together as they should be for a custom wheelchair for safety purposes for every day where of Wheelchair pound person. this lawsuit is going to be major against this company. I'm going to show the whole world how they did me wrong. This is totally unacceptable so they think that they got away with it because they're ripping off old people will wait and see. I've got every serial number that they sent incorrectly the replacement that they sent incorrect parts and how they never replaced the electric wheelchair that is flipped from two months since I received it, including in public at doctors offices were people took pictures of me . The battery is off balance and should be recalled on this wheelchair and they still never replaced it so when I get the check for the lawsuit on this company, I'll post it on this website just to prove how fraudulent they are. The staff who answer or service representatives at the call center are great at communicating any questions & last minute request we may have had. They are understanding & try their best to work with us. I asked "have you ever seen a chair more beat up or in worst case than this one you have to service?" Richard "Tech Rep" graciously said well, our client here have given much challenging tasks. It's well used and He gives keeps us on our toes. After a bolt came loose and my wheelchair basically became out of commission, I was stressed out because without my chair I can't go to work or do much. My wheelchair allows me to be independent! So with that being said, the technicians agreed that if I was able to get my chair to the warehouse, they would try replacing the missing bolt. As it turns out, that had an extra bolt on an older chair that had sitting around in their warehouse. I was so grateful because I was able to get my chair fixed, and I returned to work the very next day. read more

NuMotion is annoying!! They don't follow through and call you regarding the status of your order. I had to call several times. First, to see if they received the referral from the doctor. Then again, to see if the insurance approved the purchase. The lady told me on two different calls that they were waiting for insurance approval. So I asked for the number for Optium and spoke with a representative who said the approval was faxed over two weeks prior to my call. Then I called NuMotion again, this time merging Optium in the call. NuMotion once again said they were awaiting insurance. So I had the Optium representative speak directly, and of course, NuMotion requested Optium to fax again. After that was resolved, I had to follow up again in two weeks to see if the parts were ordered. That took another month, now it is July. Mine you, I started this process at the end of May 2024. So I get an appointment for in home repair, and then on the day they are supposed to arrive, I get a text message where the appointment has been cancelled and rescheduled. I then call and ask if i can get an earlier date. They do have something, but I will need to bring the equipment in at 9 am. So I take the 50-minute drive only to find out when I get there that the parts are located at a different location I offer to drive the equipment to the new location but they do not have anyone available. Now I'm frustrated because it's not only another delay, but it was a waste of my time and gas. So I told them they would need to do a home repair that I wasn't wasting anymore time with them. So now it's July 17 and my appointment is July 24th. Let's see if they will follow through with the repairs. read more

I don't understand the bad reviews posted about NuMotion. I called and the talked to Dianna in service. The tech's were busy for the day but they said I could bring it in and they would store it overnight and work on it Friday. I can't walk or drive so my bride took it in for me. She went and did the paperwork, turned around and the the technician (I wish I knew his name, maybe Will wow was I wrong, just spoke to Dianna and his name is Andy D.) anyway, loose wire, one of my free wheel buttons pushed, the other on free wheel. No charge, they fixed my only mode of transportation. The maintenance man in our apartment complex gave me a manual wheelchair and when your legs don't work my what a fight... oh, NuMotion's new address is 11075 Knott, near Katella.. If you are disabled and wanting to obtain durable medical equipment please find another vendor who can help you navigate your community. Numotion has had excuse after excuse on delivery of my much needed scooter. 5 months and 4 delivery dates later and I still do not have my much needed scooter. After hearing how upset I was that the may delivery date was pushed til the first week in July their rep assured me my scooter would be delivered in that week. July I receive a voice mail saying the scooter I selected came in damaged and it had to be sent back to manufacturer. Numotion neither offered a new expected delivery date, nor did the rep offer a solution ; in fact, the rep never called me personally to tell me. One would think that a company who serves "the disabled" would help a client out by offering a solution, like maybe a loaner. Out of the tens of thousand dollars they have raked in off our misfortune you would think they would have a contingency plan if this happen; like having loaners! I went in on 9/21 to get my wheelchair tires replaced and after waiting 45 minutes for invisible front office woman, my info was taken and was told I'd get a phone call later that day confirming my order and everything. I waited... And waited... And waited... And got tired of waiting after a week so I went ahead and found another place to bring my business to. Fast forward a month later to today, 10/25- I receive an email thanking me for my order from Numotion. I call to inquire and the invisible lady was actually there and tells me that the email was sent to confirm that the order was just placed. When I explained that I went in over a month ago and was still waiting for her to call me, she seemed unphased. I explained that after waiting a week I moved on to another business- THAT DID ALL THE WORK THE SAME DAY I CAME IN- She simply asked if i would like her to cancel the order with them. It takes like 3-6 months to get your chair repaired. And when they fix something they break something else and refuse to come back and fix it, even for a problem they can fix right away. They also refuse to return phone calls and answer questions. Whenever they replace my tires they make sure the casters flutter so much that the tires won't last a month. Because they will be stripped away from all the fluttering. The fluttering is so dangerous that it can hit people and throw you off the ramp and off the sidewalk. It can also stop your chair from moving in the middle of an intersection. Because of this I have been hit a few times in the street with very near close calls to my life. There is no way this company deserves anything more than 0 stars. I have never had the misfortune to work with a more disorganized, irresponsible group of individuals than this sorry enterprise. They lose emails, don't return phone calls, don't follow up with either doctors or customers to complete the necessary paperwork for months on end. My wheelchair prescription was faxed to them 6 months ago and the order has yet to be sent to the manufacturer. Every time I follow up they tell me they now have everything they need, yet invariably a couple of weeks later it turns out that something was left undone and order was not sent in - meanwhile no one had bothered to follow up with me. These people have a captive market with the disabled population, and they seem to know it and abuse it. Horrible company, with customer service bordering on criminal negligence considering that they're dealing with a vulnerable population that depends on the services provided by Numotion to function on a day to day basis. read more

The people who work here have no compassion for their clients. My experience here has been terrible and left my daughter with CP crying for days. Her both walkers broke and she was without equipment so she could not leave the house. When I asked for some help nobody seemed to care about our situation. I was willing to pay for the parts we have been waiting for on 1 walker for over 6 weeks to have it rushed and sent FED X but I was not allowed to do this. They insisted I had to wait for the delivery which was another 10 days out. AWFUL PLACE, AWFUL PEOPLE, My daughter is not mobile without her walker and nobody there cared. The second walker is her back up which is needed for just this reason. When one breaks I have the other. This time they were both broken and one of the customer service people hung up on me and said that they do not fix secondary walkers. I wish I had her name because she should be fired. After finding another customer service person I was informed that they do fix secondary walkers but insurance will not cover it. At this point, all I wanted is the parts to fix one of the walkers and I was willing to pay cash. Everyone there said I would have to wait 10 more days. Thankfully, my handyman came over and fixed the second walker for us. We were very fortunate to have him. She is back at work and walking around today. Do not use this place for your mobility needs. I called the other day to get a replacement inflatable cushion. Rude person who finally answered the phone said i could not stay on hold, that they would call me back. So i gave them my info and waited by the phone most of the day. So now it is 2 days later and not even a peep. They where sure quik about it when they where able to bill medicare for 4k. Less than 1 star. The worst company I have ever worked with. From the start with spec'ing and ordering the wheelchair, to the fitting, to the delivery, then the billing, insurance and balance due. Steer clear....head in the opposite direction NOW! Every step of the way was a nightmare. At the final fitting, they brought incorrect parts, forgot the headrest, didn't have the seating system right, forgot to order parts needed, etc. It was an expensive manual wheelchair, but their billing is so bad, you can't tell what insurance paid, and what you are paying and why. Read every bad review shown and LISTEN. Yes, Gaby and Shajom do not follow through and have excuses everytime. It is about time someone reports this company to whomever. read more

If this was for an appliance or anything else I would let it go but the well-being of my little girl means a lot to me so this warrants an honest review. What I thought was going to be an awesome find for my daughter's wheelchair since Numotion was recommended by the Rehab Hospital, it has been anything but. The wheelchair being delivered with the wrong size wheels and not adjusted properly for her was not the only issue it was also customer service or lack there of. Been waiting a few weeks now and no one is responding to my request for an appointment to make the proper adjustments to protect her head and body. I am not sure they ever will. I do not feel safe taking her in our van for a long drive for doctor appointments with the head support not right. Her head falls out of the support. Medical transport is very expensive. The people I have had to deal with have been rude when I finally get to them on the phone asking for help. Like I was bothering them. It was really hard to get them on the phone to start with. They got the sale so why bother. It has been hell dealing with these rude people who are supposed to be in the business of helping people. What a joke. Begs the question, why does Numotion hire people who are rude to customers? I have a far larger story to tell about our experience if leadership at Numotion are interested to hear it, to improve the customer experience. Betcha I won't hear back but my story will be told to others with a warning, don't call these people if you need help for yourself or your loved ones. read more

don't bother using these people. They don't care about patients, they are rude. It's not them that rely on scooters or wheelchairs so they could care less. They sent me a Gogo elite scooter and the battery only lasted 4hrs. Whats the point of even using it at that point. they told my insurance co they would contact me on a specific date and more than a week later still no call. There is so much more I could go into about this company but the story is long. All I have to say is, DONT USE THEM! You are better off finding someone who has a 5star rating and not a 1.5 star rating. I'm living with the damages that cancer and chemo have giving me and need a reliable scooter. I bought an F5 Permobil less than a year ago and it's completely breaking down. The stand up, recline, and elevate features no longer work ... that means no weight shifts to prevent pressure wounds (it's currently stuck in incline so I've been bedridden for the last two days because their technicians are always unavailable). They partnered with a company called NuMotion who is supposed to handle their service/repair calls for warranty and insurance but they have a three week waiting list to get someone out. They're incredibly rude over the phone and don't understand how important these chairs are to us to survive without assistance. I'm a quadriplegic with only three hours of help per day in the mornings so how am I supposed to get to the refrigerator without my power chair to feed myself? I highly recommend buying a different brand of wheelchair and be sure that they don't partner with NuMotion for their repair needs or you'll never get help if something goes wrong with the chair. read more

This is the worse wheelchair company I had to deal with. I have been a manual wheelchair user for 26 years and I always being using Colours wheelchairs. I wanted to experience a new company Big Mistake. There is a girl named Elizabeth she takes orders to get any wheelchair repairs. I had problems with my front casters. I called many times, Elizabeth was very unprofessional. She has no customer service. After three months someone called me to tell me that someone was going to call me to schedule an appointment to check my wheelchair. I couldn't believe it. The person told me that Elizabeth turned in my order the previous week. I hope that her boss reads this review because you will continue loosing valued customers if Elizabeth continues working at your company. Please, Please, if you are thinking of getting a wheelchair Do Not get it at NuMotion. I will go back to Colours. Colours wheelchair Company are the Best. This company is terribly run. They take forever to schedule a service call and then on two separate occasions failed to show up. When I called to find why they hadn't showed up in the appropriate time frame, I was told they would contact the service technician and get back to me. No one ever got back to me. When I called two hours later, they changes their story and claimed the appointment was scheduled for the prior day. I then asked if it was scheduled for the prior day, why no one showed up on that day and why we didn't receive a call the prior day. They had no answer. I also asked why, when I called earlier in the day they confirmed the appointment and said the technician would call me, they had no answer. read more

The Atlanta office is the worse! We worked with Keith Coleman who is coordinator for Derrick Register of the Shepherd Center. It was horrific and unprofessional with zero follow up. I've had to follow up with everyone myself! This company may have systems in place but they're completely inefficient. Even the patients doctors office has complained about the lack of streamlined processes at NuMotion. They use fax and print and fax back systems. The paperwork required of the patient doctors is repetitive, and many many steps. And they require patient follow up as NuMotion employees while trained to do so, don't! It is exhausting! Formerly ATG Rehab, I went with Numotion for my wheelchair repair when the air cushion popped. I ordered the chair I have now with the manufacturer Colours after ATG told me to go directly through them for everything. Well, they failed to tell me that Colours absolutely does not take insurance and I'd be paying for everything out-of-pocket. I got tired of paying for my repairs when I know I can get them covered with both insurances that I have. So I called Numotion and faxed my prescription along with my information, and when I called back a week later to ask about an update, they told me they input the wrong insurance member ID. So basically instead of calling me to ask about this (and I had faxed them this information as well so they had it on file), they waited for me to call in order to do something about it. So I have gone in for an evaluation (and I went in person to hurry along the process), but a few weeks later it turns out they needed further documentation from my doctor and they hadn't billed one of my insurances yet. And guess what, I had to call them for this update once again, and it had been 1 whole month since I initially started the paperwork. I had to drive down there 1 or 2 days later to sign some forms, when this all could have been done in one week, and I live 20 miles away but I really need this repair done - it's becoming an urgent medical issue now. A week after signing papers, they now inform me that the appointment is cancelled due to all the equipment parts not being shipped in yet, and they have a lead time of 2 weeks before it comes in. Again, they never called me to inform me about this; I called them a day before the appointment to make sure I would be seen. They did their last minute research while I was on hold just to tell me this. It's been a month and a half now, I'm sure. I wish I could give 0 stars! My son's wheelchair has been broken since February and it is now almost september! He had cerebral palsy and needs a wheelchair to get around. He now relies on us to get him places because he had lost his freedom. Numotion doesn't care. I call and email and never hear anything back. I even met with someone in person and he claimed to have ordered the parts and yet we are still waiting. They tried to collect money from our insurance without ever actually fixing his chair. We had an excellent experience with Numotion. We ordered my son's first electric wheelchair through them after being referred to them by our son's physical therapist. We worked with two people when ordering and receiving the chair, and both were personable, respectful, and made our son feel comfortable. The custom chair was ready in a couple of months, much sooner than we expected. Joe, who delivered it, was wonderful. He even told us about a USB port that could be attached to the chair, then found one and stopped by our house a week later to give it to us. This was incredible service! read more
