It was a slow night in the restaurant, so they did keep the buffet minimally stocked, which was understandable. Two things that stood out for us was that the food was not overly salty and also oily. Two things that you find in a lot of Chinese buffets. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant was clean. Not much for ambience, but I think it's more about diners looking for variety and a quick meal at a fairly low price.

I've tried many other Chinese restaurants, but I always come back to China Moon whenever I'm in the area for their beef and broccoli. The service is friendly and helpful, and they still offer a buffet for both lunchh and dinner, something you don't see as much after Covid. The inside of the restaurant was renovated within the last few years and it's a big upgrade from how it used to look. If you're in Crookston, definitely give this place a try.

They were really on it to keep food available to us. Staff were super friendly and accommodating for our large party. Great food for an awesome price. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. I guess Panda Express is the only fast food place in the country that uses the actual size dimensions - small means really small, but the large is more a medium. Strike 1: All 3 containers were filled 75% at the most. If you're already stingy with your portion size, at least fill it 100%. Strike 2: The so-called Super Greens were mostly cabbage, nothing super about it. There was some broccoli, but I did not see any kale or spinach. Strike 3: This pathetic "dinner" came to a total of almost $17.00. That's a pretty steep price for small portions that don't even taste all that great. I've had regular Chinese mall food court that tasted better. At best, Panda Express is a glorified Chinese mall food court chain, nothing special. Don't waste your money - you'll leave hungry.
