What I like about Boots is that it stocks major brands so you can be assured that what you are buying is the real deal in comparison to the likes of semi-chem. I recently called into the Boots in Castlecourt as I had really bad toothache and was going to pick up some gel for it. I went to the counter to pay when the girl advised me of a product they had that would work much better and was pretty much the same price. I bough the recommended gel and it worked wonders and I've recommended it to my friends. Purely because of the excellent customer service and advice I'd come back to this Boots of I had any ailments that could be sorted with over the counter drugs.

Personally I have had a few unpleasant experiences with the staff here, being rude and not giving all off my medicine. Because of this it's left me to make multiple visits for no reason. Their driving that collects the scripts is completely unfit for the job as nearly every time I call I hear "we don't have your script, the driver hasn't came yet". Unfortunately this place was never like this until it was taken over by new management. The place is a joke an absolute Mickey Mouse operation.

They need to make their money from as many things as possible to survive the threat of the big chain stores. It's an old school pharmacist in that people come in and talk to him before they go to the Doctor, and he usually knows exactly what they need for their ailments.

Because Medicare is housed in the same building as a medical centre it is really well staffed as they obviously anticipate footfall - today I spotted at least 4 white cloaked members of staff. Great Chemist and pharmacy - as handy as they come and price wise it competes with the other main high street brands.
