It now offers photo development and even an opticians. It is becoming a one stop shop for everything. What I like about Boots is that it stocks major brands so you can be assured that what you are buying is the real deal in comparison to the likes of semi-chem. I recently called into the Boots in Castlecourt as I had really bad toothache and was going to pick up some gel for it. I went to the counter to pay when the girl advised me of a product they had that would work much better and was pretty much the same price. I bough the recommended gel and it worked wonders and I've recommended it to my friends. Purely because of the excellent customer service and advice I'd come back to this Boots of I had any ailments that could be sorted with over the counter drugs.

This particular one isn't stocked by many places, so I was delighted to find it in here. The make-up ranges are great and they also have every hair care prouduct you can think of. The John Frida Brilliant Brunette hair serum is only £6 and works wonders. Really recommended. Randomly they also offer a range of lunch sandwiches and pasta dishes for people popping in on their break. On the pharmacy end of things the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and polite. A great store, which has been recently refurbished, in a great location. Only thing is you're going to come out with empty pockets!

Personally I have had a few unpleasant experiences with the staff here, being rude and not giving all off my medicine. Because of this it's left me to make multiple visits for no reason. Their driving that collects the scripts is completely unfit for the job as nearly every time I call I hear "we don't have your script, the driver hasn't came yet". Unfortunately this place was never like this until it was taken over by new management. The place is a joke an absolute Mickey Mouse operation.

Do you ever just get a really nice vibe from a place? Well I had this here, often when you walk in to small stores everyone stops talking and looks at you but that didn't happen here. the pharmacist said 'good afternoon' and asked could they help before the door even closed! It's the little things that make big differences. I couldn't imagine this chemist would ever get too busy. It sells the usual over the counter medicines as well as bathroom essentials such as shower gel, soap and shampoo. Don't expect huge stocks of things but do expect a warm welcome!

The staff know all their locals very well and will always go to get them their prescriptions and regular products before they even have to ask. This works out for my because my mums a Ceoliac and asking for bread in a chemist makes me look nuts! They sell a lot of products, from beauty to hygiene to house hold cleaning products. They need to make their money from as many things as possible to survive the threat of the big chain stores. It's an old school pharmacist in that people come in and talk to him before they go to the Doctor, and he usually knows exactly what they need for their ailments.

This is a super handy pharmacy as Grove also has a medical centre so if you have to pick up a prescription you can do it in this one stop shop. Apart from being a place to pick up your prescriptions it also stocks the usual over the counter medicines. One handy thing it sells is sports supports and plasters so if you happen to have a niggle at the gym or want to ease some pain before heading upstairs you can. Because Medicare is housed in the same building as a medical centre it is really well staffed as they obviously anticipate footfall - today I spotted at least 4 white cloaked members of staff. Great Chemist and pharmacy - as handy as they come and price wise it competes with the other main high street brands.
