When you have the sniffles the last thing you can be bothered with is going to a massive Boots megastore, hoking through their various cold and flu remedies and getting your head in an even worse tangle. So today I decided I was going to go local in the hope that I could get in and out without messing about. That's exactly what happened, I pulled up outside Burns Pharmacy (loads of parking), walked in and asked one of the three behind the counter staff for some Lemsip and hey presto I was on my merry way.
One weird thing about this pharmacy is that all the cold and flu stuff is behind the counter. So you actually do have ask for it, I wasn't just being lazy.
The store is also has a pharmaceutical counter and serves the local community their prescriptions. It can be tricky to find if you haven't been before but it's practically behind Sullivan School. read more
