I'd never, ever paid a visit to Fullarton Pharmacy, which is really quite strange given how many times I've driven past it and thought 'I must go in there one day'. Yes, that's how sad I am...
Yesterday, when I popped into St George's Market (which I'd never been to either...I really need to get out more), I remembered that I needed some hairspray (yet again), and instantly thought of Fullarton's. So, in I went.
It's quite a strange little pharmacy, with both an entrance from the market itself and Oxford Street, and it's also pretty small. There wasn't really anything of interest, so I got on with the matter in hand and picked up some Pantene hairspray for a respectable £1.99. Bargain.
The staff were exceptionally pleasant, and I was served straight away by a third staff member who saw me approaching and noticed that his two fellow workers were busy with prescriptions. Very nice chap indeed.
Well, it certainly did its job, so I can't really complain. As to whether or not I'd go out of my way to visit again is another question, but I figured it's more for handiness' sake. Not half bad. read more
