The ballroom in here is huge for salsa practice so it accommodates more dance partners and more dance room. They have beginners class every Monday and Wednesday night at 7:30 to 8:30 and intermediate class at 8:45 to 9:45. The instructor is an amazing dancer so it felt kind of intimidating at first coming to this class but then she warms everybody up by showing everyone the basic turns/ footwork. Just like every other salsa heat school you have to dance with everyone there to get a feel or different dancers so the guys can learn how to lead more and the ladies can learn how to keep up the tempo. I recommend this place if you are willing to sharpen up some salsa moves and are willing to make it all look easy.

During our brief conversation, he let me know that the studio was offering to allow perspective students to take a number of classes to try out dance and see how they like it. I was definitely intrigued by this. In the two weeks that followed, I sampled 2 Monday night and 2 Tuesday night classes where the introduction to several dances (tango, salsa, bachata, etc.) were covered by Andy. About half way through class Mark (Owner?) would arrive and assist through to the end. The second week just happened to coincide with the week of the evening dance party held at the Jazzercise Orlando Mills 50 Fitness Center and I was invited to attend. Overall, the Instructors were great, welcoming and very personable. The other students were very open and welcoming. The classes and the dance party was a good experience. I will definitely go back and recommend that you give it a try if you're curious about dancing.

Daughter loved ballet/tap and we enrolled her. So far we are very happy with the classes and how structured everything seems, even for the youngest dancers. Studio is always a text message away and they send several emails during the week to keep us updated with any changes. I have to add that studio takes feedback well and are always eager to help. They are also very strict with how classes go which I appreciate since toddlers need that structure and strictness. My daughter loves her classes and looks forward to each one. Looking forward to a year of more dancing for our little one!

It's been a year so far and the results are amazing. My daughter was dancing in The Little Mermaid and, fingers crossed, will get through trials for The Nutcracker. We cannot be more happy to be attending such an amazing ballet school and are super proud to be a part of Russian Ballet Orlando Family. You will need to purchase a ballet outfit for your little to attend, but considering the free classes, it's a minimal cost. The staff has been incredible, the teacher is very patient with the kids (and saying that for a group of toddlers is huge!) and the facility is clean and nice. They do offer paid tuition courses, as well as, adult courses / classes if you would like to enroll. We plan to enroll our little when she turns three, so we have been slowly introducing her to the building and the people to help her adjust. I definitely recommend it for anyone with smaller ones. You can enroll them for the free classes starting at 2.5 years old. Overall: A+ Loving the free courses and can't wait for our little to be a touch older to get her fully enrolled and do more classes :)

I would describe tribal fusion as a snakelike/sexy/dirty/grunge form of bellydance... google it and I'm sure you'll see that the costumes alone are a lot of fun and definitely unique. She teaches classes at the You Health Center on Virginia Avenue and beginners are always welcome in her introductory level classes. Lacey herself is a tiny fireball and will put you in a good mood no matter what your day was like! The instruction at Florida Tribal Dance is beyond spectacular. I am not good with group classes, but even I felt comfortable right away. In addition to Lacey, the director, there are other teachers and a variety of classes available so I can always work something into my schedule. I prefer the funky tribal fusion classes. Lacey is a master at mixing different styles into fusion belly dance! They now have Zumba too! Other new classes are drumming and Polynesian dance. The selection is always changing! If you are even remotely interested, you HAVE to give it a try!

Dr. Sinclair conducts quite an orchestra! I had the chance to attend a show during their February intense month of performances and it was magical. The instruments and vocals reverberated off the walls of the beautiful Knowles Chapel in a way that filled every corner with sound. I found myself letting my eyes drift up to look at the beautiful building while letting the music wash over me. A few things to know: - The Bach Society performs often, but the best time to catch a show is in Feb. Mostly so you can catch many more shows that month as they perform almost daily. - Parking on campus is tough. Try the Alfond Sports Center for visitor spots or go directly to the SunTrust garage off of Park Avenue. - Subscribe to the newsletter to get special deals and updates. I've seen plenty of BOGOs offered! - No photography of the performers. This one is a bummer because I want to share the great experience, but good to note. Otherwise, Orlando is lucky to have this group! Support them by getting tickets to a show!
