Dr. Kim is extremely attentive, very personable, and I'm certain he's the best at what he does. That being said, I would be remiss if I didn't mention his AMAZING staff. My family loves his staff. Everyone is so friendly and Ashley is the very BESTTTTTT at what she does. My family and I have been coming here for some time now and if I'm being completely honest, she's the reason we booked our first appointment when we did and why we look forward to every single office visit. So, if you aren't happy with your current smile, I urge you to contact Suwanee Orthodontics for a consultation. You won't find a better Orthodontist than Dr. Kim. I've gone to other orthodontics to get free evaluations but was never satisfied with what they were telling me. One orthodontics told me that he couldn't give me a quote until I pay $200 to get it started. Another one wasn't sure if my kids needed braces and told me to wait. I know my kids needed braces. I just wanted to know how much. For the consultation, Dr. Salyer and his staff were very friendly. He took a look at my son's teeth and told me exactly what I already know that needs to be done about his teeth. What won me over is how much everything will cost from the insurance part to my part. They worked out a monthly payment with *no* interest. Fast forward two years later, my son has his braces off and now it's my daughter's turn. Same great staff. Nothing is hidden. Since I switched insurance several times. They were informative and helpful to let me know that insurance paid ¾ of the portion for my daughter and I just had one payment left! So for almost a year, I had no payments!! How awesome is that. Besides being honest with no hidden cost or fees, Salyer Orthodontics is very modern and chic. When checking in, you use the touch screen computer. You can sit in either waiting area. One side has comfortable love seats and chairs with the latest magazines on the coffee table. The other side has a big orange couch with a big TV playing the Disney channel. Behind it is a cute high table and chair. On the left hand side are computers for you to surf the Internet if you're bored. On the right hand side are complimentary water and coffee. Anyone who needs a great, honest orthodontics, have to check Salyer out. I've recommended him to several friends already. I even saw an ex college friend there taking her son! He's really great. My son who has a disability does not always follow the instructions. I explained this to them but they still were going to charge me twice the contractual price because they were unhappy with him. I am seriously considering changing orthodontists but it may be too late! They did finally drop the charges but I feel this was totally uncalled for. Also my younger son who was referred to the orthodontist to help him break a finger sucking habit still sucks his fingers after his braces have been out. Dr. Nguyen was tremendous. Super patient and gentle! I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist because of past experiences and he was completely great! The staff is kind, patient and make my mom feel welcome and cared for. They are careful to include me in the communication process, so I can make it easier on my mom. Dr. Parikh invested the time to come up with a treatment plan that aligned with my mom's insurance, to minimize her out of pocket costs while also minimizing disruption to her ability to easily use her teeth as these treatments happen over time. Both he and his wife (the other Dr. Parikh) are kind, caring providers, and it's clear their leadership in the practice carries over to everyone else, because everyone working there exhibits the same, thoughtful bedside manner. Welcoming and caring. I highly recommend this dental practice. I wish every health care provider was this good.
