I'm sorry I was in so much pain that I don't recall names but to the woman at the desk who whisked me in to the E.R. staff I want to say thank you so very much! Now to the nurses on the 2nd floor G Wing I believe I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sorry if I kept you busy changing 50 bags of fluid that kept my catheter flowing. You nurses are truly dedicated, hard working and go above and beyond. Special shout out to the ones whose names I can remember and those I don't . Amanda, Litzy, Brandon, Maria, Brianna and Tom the RN that was called in when I had an episode. You guys rock. Again thank you all that took care of me when I ended up at Mt. Sinai.

UTI (although I never had any symptoms of a UTI) and 3 days later I went to Winthrop Mineola and they found that I had an ongoing perforation in my colon and the follow day my body started going into shock. They almost killed me. In 2022 I went here to give birth to my daughter (only because my doctor was affiliated here) and they left me out in the hallway for 3 hours SCREAMING at the top of my lungs in labor. It wasn't until they finally gave me a room and checked that I had gone from 3cm-7cm in 1 hour. I started throwing up all over the floor and hall way and they never even offered my a wheelchair until the very end. My experience here was absolutely terrible. When my daughter was born they didn't even bring her to me for over 10 mins for our first touch. I hate this place and I'll never ever step foot here or recommend anyone to go here. They even misspelled my daughter's first name and I've had years of headaches trying to change it on all her records. Save yourself and do go here or have your baby here.

I was born in this hospital. I went to this hospital for a work injury. And I will give them credit…read morethat the renovation is nice, and the care in most usually great. However, a family member went recently with symptoms of a stroke. They took a CT scan, which is inconclusive for a stroke. And sent him home, the same night, not able to walk on his own, and with very high blood pressure. They told me he did not suffer a stroke and that it's just general weakness from the arthritis he has in his knee and hip. Flash forward 5 days later. We visit a doctor who tells us to go back immediately, bc he did in fact suffer a stroke and must get an MRI done immediately. They misdiagnosed a stroke. With all the signs in the hospital that claim they're #1 in this regard, they should be ashamed of themselves. Needless to say. He's back there where the doctor told us to go. It took them an additional 33 hours to give him the MRI. Which is inexcusable according to multiple hospitals on LI that I have called asking about this. Unless they're trying to cover their tracks for the 5 day blunder on their part. I would normally wait to post a review, but ANYONE who fears they suffered a stroke should not use this hospital as they're negligent and delayed treatment during a very critical time because of malpractice.

Outpatient with Dr.Rangavajjula. There's ample parking if you are not getting general anesthesia…read moreand need to park your vehicle close by. Security/welcoming committee at the door which sets one's mind at ease. Sanitize and mask up if you want. Masks right now are not mandatory, but most of the staff are wearing it. I'm grateful for that. The facility is clean, and each bed is sanitized between patients as I observed for two hours before my procedure. Staff at check-in are very pleasant and professional. They are following Covid protocol and there is glass between you and the intake when you arrive. Very smooth check-in process. THE AMBULATORY SURGERY: very clean Erika, Naomi, Josephine,Karen, and the OR nurses were really well suited for patient care. Efficient and pleasant, and they take the lead if you want to lighten up with a joke or two. A couple of people recognize me from my previous procedures and we're very encouraging knowing I was in a bit of discomfort. Got walked out to my car to make sure I was getting out safely. I'll be darned if she told me her name and it is slipping my mind, but she was very lovely. I'll be losing Dr.Rangavajjula the New Jersey St. Luke's system. If you are in need of a pain specialist, and you live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, I encourage you to look him up. You will not find a finer medical professional. One more procedure to go, I hope, but this Care is appreciated.

DO NOT!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, go to Putnam Hospital Center (Carmel, NY) for…read moretreatment of any kind!!!!! My wife was complaining of nausea, and some dizziness and headaches. Her doctor recommended going to the hospital and getting a CAT Scan. She was not feeling too bad at the time. The next day the doctor said we should go to the hospital and get an MRI. That was on March 10, 2026. Since then she has gotten worse, with her back causing her the most pain. We both believe it was from the RACK she laid on for 5 days. What a horrible bed!!! They thought she might have had a stroke, but that was ruled out. They ran a number of tests, and a second MRI, but found no cause for her problems. They kept sticking her with needles to try and relieve her nausea with drugs, until her upper arms, and her abdomen where hideously black and blue. She looked like a pin cushion. We finally came home on March 14, 2026, and there has been no change. On St. Patty's day one of her doctors called to say a test came back positive for mononucleosis!!! She must have gotten it when she was in the hospital!!! She continues to have nausea and severe back pain. She cannot eat because of the nausea. Only some oatmeal and yogurt. Please save yourself aggravation and all kinds of pain by NOT going to this hospital!!! Dan McA.

On Monday night at around 11:30 pm I was transported by ambulance to the ER with severe shortness…read moreof breath and dizziness. I spent the next 12 hours in the ER while waiting for a room. They gave me a battery of tests, blood labs, chest Ex Ray , EKG. When they determined that my Hemoglobin was severely and critically low they were expecting to find some kind of internal bleeding. Their thoroughness found out that I had a urinary tract infection coupled with my diabetes, my anemia and some of my diabetic meds were adding to my severe anemia condition. They immediately put me on antibiotics and started to withhold some of my other meds because I needed to stabilize my blood. They gave me 1 blood transfusion that did not improve anything. After 2 more transfusions my blood improved tremendously. I would be remiss if I did not praise the staff. Mark the technician in the E R was great. The nurse and ER doctor were very attentive, methodical and reassuring. When I got to a room later in the day I was amazed at the nurses and techs and how they were a team and exemplified caring for patients. At this stage of my life I have been in hospital situations over the years and White Plains Hospital should get ten stars. Thank you Mark, Megan, Michelle, Rachel, Pam, Julianna and Dr Alon the attending physician. Thank you ER staff. It was determined that I had a UTI that sent my blood to go too low. They let me go home but I have to check within a week to sure the infection is gone.As I said before 10 stars not 5. Sal E. New Rochelle

They escalate situations when they should be trained to de-escalate!! The area is also DIRTY!!
