Words cannot express the experience I had with NUHA!! Turning 60 I wanted to purchase myself a special present. Found unique diamond bracelet. I just wnated a little extra room. And low and behold Christopher worked his magic!!! I am IN LOVE LOVE LOVE. Purchased my daughter a nameplate to replace one that o purchased at another jeweler - Which I totally overpaid and the quality was so cheap it snapped. The one I got at NUHA is beautifully made. NUHA has personal care in dealing with yiu. Honest and friendly. They just got a customer for life!!! Any jewelry needs I highly recommend! read more

If I could give zero star I would. We walked in and all three salespeople were busy. There was no acknowledgement of any kind. They took next customer after 10 mins of wait. Complete lack of service. read more

I wrote a review a while ago and, at the time, I gave Nuha 3 stars. I am now updating my review and giving them one star. Despite my misgivings about this place, especially rude, arrogant Chris, I decided to give them another try. My pearl necklace broke and needed to be fixed. I've had it for years and it was given to me by my mother so it has much sentimental value. Chris told me it would have to be restrung and acted as though I was inconveniencing him. He said it was a big job and it would have to be "sent out." When it was finally restrung and fixed, I paid more than I expected to but, no big deal, it was worth it to me. Well, the first time I put it on, the necklace broke!! They did a lousy job restringing it. This should not have happened. Had they done what they were supposed to do, I would've overlooked Chris's attitude, the money I spent to repair it, and the weeks I waited to get it back but this is unacceptable. I have numerous friends who have had equally unpleasant dealings with this business and none of us will be returning. It is obvious their bread and butter is selling big ticket diamond rings. I'm sure they give those customers undivided attention and Chris keeps his abrupt, nasty personality in check. So unless you're looking to buy an engagement ring, stay away from this place. read more

My fiancé and I cannot express enough how amazing and beautiful our engagement ring looks. Everyone who helped me with the process was professional, sincere, and felt like they wanted to help me get the best ring possible, and not just my money. 10/10 would highly recommend Nuha Jewelers!! read more

The nicest people. Great customer service and they deliver exactly what they say. Such a wonderful find for the neighbooh.

Chris and his team are incredibly talented! I brought in a gold coin to have set in a custom medallion necklace, and the result was truly superb. Chris takes his time to understand your needs and vision to create timeless pieces that suit your style. Would highly recommend them! read more

Simply the best! I wanted to get a new setting for a Diamond engagement ring that I inherited from my Mother. I had been to a number of Jewelry stores in Plainview and Woodbury, but nothing compared to the customer service and inventory at Nuha Jewelers. They exceeded my expectations! From the second I walked into the store through the completion of the most beautiful ring I have ever seen (my Mom is smiling from above). The Owners, Chris, and his Dad, and his entire team at Nuha Jewelers are extremely knowledgeable, honest, friendly, attentive, and communicated with me throughout the entire process. I was never pressured to do or spend more than I needed to. Their inventory of jewelry in the store is spectacular! This is absolutely my new "Go To" for any jewelry purchases going forward! read more

I found them at Yelp, and decided to call and bring my watches for a batterry replacement. I'm not from the area, so I didn't know what to expect. As I came in, the store was busy. I had 3 watches to repair and one hour to spare. They were absolutely lovely. Chris was able to accommodate my needs and repair all watches. I truly appreciate good customer service and I'm so happy with the results. If you need anything, call in advance . The store is beautiful and very welcoming. read more

I ordered two necklaces from Nuha Jewelers online, based on all of the great reviews I saw. I had to order online because they are not close to where I live. I had a specific request for the length which they easily accommodated. They could not have been nicer with the several communications we had back and forth via phone and via text. And then when the two necklaces arrived...OMG! The packaging and presentation were beyond gorgeous. And the necklaces are even prettier in person. I will definitely order from them again. Gorgeous jewelry and such incredible service that I received. Plus, glad to purchase from a family-owned business. HIGHLY recommend! read more

I ordered some earrings online and they are so gorgeous! The prices were very competitive/ fair. Their packaging and gift wrap is stunning and really makes you feel special. I enjoyed the chat feature on their website as they were able to answer questions I had about the earrings such as the size of them. Shipping was lightning fast as well! 100% would buy again from Nuha! read more

Chris was extremely professional, and was very patient in answering any questions or concerns I had about shopping for jewelry. I was able to purchase the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé at a very fair price. The ring was beautiful, and of the utmost quality. I would recommend anyone looking for any type of jewelry to go in and see Chris. Another invaluable quality of Chris was how easy it was to get in touch with him about any questions or concerns I had. I can go on and on about how positive my experience was, can't thank him and nuha enough. read more

I used Nuha for engagement ring as well as both wedding bands and could not be happier. From customer service to the experience to the quality of the product everything was absolutely outstanding! The owner himself spent 2 hours with me discussing various options for an engagement ring, and was not pushy at all. He taught me all about how ratings worked and showed me price options from almost every range. Once I settled he helped with the certifications and then gave me a great deal on a matching band. Most importantly, my now wife, was so happy with the ring and can't stop showing it off. He also helped fit it properly since I didn't know her exact size. Experience was so good used them for bands and they came out perfect. I will go back and recommend them for any jewelry needs you would have. Guys- if you are overwhelmed by what to do/get/how much to pay go here and talk to Chris, he was so helpful I can't speak highly enough about Nuha. read more

Words can't describe how pleased my fiancé and I are with Nuha jewelers. I don't usually write reviews but I was so pleased with Chris and Geraldine I had to share. They were so helpful and really took the time to find the right ring. It never seemed like they were in it to make a sale. They helped me throughout the entire process and they truly cared. I could tell they weren't going to be happy unless I was in love with the ring. We couldn't be happier and I would highly recommend to anyone whether you're looking for an engagement ring, a gift or any type jewelry. read more

I'm not sure what happened to "the customer is always right" but at NuHa Jewelers, the customer is not even respected. On Tuesday of this week, my wife dropped off my watch because the band had broken. Simple enough, right? You'd think so. When she dropped it off, the woman at the counter (who seemed so strange that my wife suspected the store was being robbed - it wasn't) told her that someone would call me by Thursday to tell me how much it would be. Thursday came and went and the call never happened. This morning (Saturday), I received a voicemail from Chris, the owner, who told me that my watch was ready to be picked up. When I came by later that day to pick it up, I was told it would be ten dollars to fix the watch, which I was more than fine to pay but I mentioned about the phone call which was promised to me and wondered why it had not occurred. The woman at the counter seemingly dismissed my question by saying she didn't know. Chris, the owner, didn't even have the courtesy to pick up his head from what he was pretending to do, but felt the need to say "have a good afternoon" in a very nasty tone. When I confronted him on his nasty attitude, he said, "What's your problem? It's only ten dollars." To which I responded, "If you think ten dollars isn't a lot, then give it back to me." Not even responding to that, he proceeded to berate me in his store (which was devoid of customers) and tell me that he knew I was annoyed that no one called me but if it had been more than $30, he would have called me. However, that's not what my wife was told. She was told that someone would call me regardless with a price. Then he went on to tell me how hard it was for him to fix the little piece that had broken in my watch band and how out of the way he had to go -- all for a service he had agreed to render for a fee. His girlfriend (who I feel sorry for) had to drive to someone else in the City and pay seven dollars. So he didn't even fix it himself for some reason. Poor Chris only made three bucks. Then, very boastfully, he told me that he was the owner of the store and that he made jewelry for $20K or $30K and the idea of fixing a watch band was so beneath him that - as of this morning - he has now hung up a sign on his front door that said NuHa is too good to fix watchbands or replace watch batteries for good, paying customers. The point isn't that no one called me on Thursday (which they didn't). Nor is the point that Chris is a tremendous dick (which he is). The point is that someone said they would call and they didn't. If they didn't offer the phone call, I would have never expected it. Now I would never again, for anything, under any circumstance, shop - or give business - to NuHa Jewelers. And neither should you. read more

Nuha Jewelers on South Oyster Bay Road in Plainview, NY is not the place to shop. They are very rude, unreliable, and do not stand behind their work. I was a customer of theirs from the time they opened, but was treated very badly, and will never go back there again. In mentioning the incident to people I know, they said they have had the same experience with Nuha's rude behavior and they, too, have stopped going there and have found jewelers who appreciate their customers' business. read more

My family has been going to Nuha for years, always very happy with the quality of their jewelry! I recently purchased my wedding bands from them and the experience was just as great as always... Chris (and his father) were great to work with... Chris was nervous the band wouldn't be in on time- (which was our fault- as we ordered it a little late) but I really appreciated his close communication with the company and he was able to have it ready in time for our wedding! I loved being able to wear it as soon as we got married... As always, the quality is great and the finished product is beautiful. I constantly get compliments on both rings... and of course let them know where we got them! Thanks Nuha for all your assistance and professionalism. We look forward to continuing to come back to you and your family for any jewelry we might need/want!!! Thank you again!!! read more

I give Nuha Jewelers a 5 star rating for so many reasons. Chris took as much time as I needed to sit down and explain the diamond from Step 1 to Step 10. He kept me within my budget (although I went over by choice) and I never once felt pressured. The quality and selection of diamonds that are chosen are beyond beautiful. I live in Manhattan and Chris even took the time to hand deliver my ring for me. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for engagement rings and/or rings. I had an absolutely incredible experience with Nuha Jewelers! I am very particular - and in fact this was the third time I had my engagement ring reset, and 3rd jeweler I had worked with. Chris sat with us for hours making sure we had covered every detail, the price was reasonable, and the quality was far above and beyond anyone else. (And at this point I have spoken to at least a dozen jewelers in NYC and Long Island, if not more.) It's a family business and they know what they're talking about. We talked through every option for every detail of the ring, and I really felt like we had left no stone unturned. I have learned that it is hard to find a high quality, honest jeweler, and I am so happy to have finally found Nuha. I cannot recommend Nuha and Chris enough! read more

Nuha is our family jeweler! We go to Nuha for their quality and beautiful selection. Chris is wonderful to work with, honest and talented.

Amazing jeweler. Great selection of contemporary pieces and most importantly I trust the father and son duo who run it. They are honest and helpful. I've had several pieces fixed here in the past, and recently purchase earrings and a bracelet. They were so accommodating with any questions I had and resetting my bracelet for no extra cost. I have been going to Nuha Jewelers at the Tri-County Jewelry Exchange for many years. Recently they opened up their new store in Plainview at the Plainview Shopping Cennter. The new store is amazing! They not only sell quality jewelry but jewelry that is unique and interesting. The moment you enter the store you feel confident that these people are looking out for you. The new store displays their pieces in an atmosphere of elegance. I recommend this establishment with no reservations because I am confident that I am getting the best for a reasonable price. Very rarely do I post a review but their service and committment to their craft and to the customer is exceptional. Honestly, i was really nervous about picking out the engagement ring. I felt confident she would say yes, but I wasn't nearly as confident i would pick out the ring she would love forever. Sure enough, with the help of Nuha Jewelers, she said yes, she was gushing about the ring and we literally can't go anywhere without people stopping her. The attention and care given by this family run business is unmatched and I am blessed to have found them. My fiancee and I went in today to pick out our wedding rings and it was the same story. Painless, simple, friendly and I will never buy jewelry anywhere else, ever again. Thank you Nuha! read more

If I could rate this 10/10 I would. I went in shopping for an engagement ring and left with perfection. My experience with Chris was nothing but exceptional. The store itself is beautiful and clean. Everyone who works in the shop is super nice and helpful. Chris is very professional and easy to work with. I never felt pressured like at many other jewelry to spend more money with Chris. He made my first experience (and hopefully my last lol) with buying an engagement ring, easy, educational, and as smooth as can be. He helped me with every aspect of picking out the perfect ring while educating me along the way all while working within my budget, never making me feel uncomfortable. I couldn't recommend Chris and his shop enough, and safe to say I have found myself a new Jeweler! Anyone looking for an engagement ring, or any other piece of jewelry for that matter, should visit Chris and his family at Nuha Jewelers, you won't regret it! read more
