This review has been years in the making, but for good reason. We were under the weight of a very…read moresizable IRS tax bill (which one isn't?) and had spent far too long burying our heads in the sand, hoping it would go away. Meeting Kevan, Mauro and the team quickly made us see the many benefits of just taking the first step to deal with our issues. Not only are they a pleasure to deal with (among some very unpleasant topics), but they negotiated a VERY friendly settlement and saw us through until the last payment was made. (And beyond) Even through the bumpiness of Covid and also some very challenging personal health issues. This review has taken so long because, as the weight was lifting, we became very busy just working, rebuilding and looking forward to a brighter future. But all thanks to these fine folks at McLaughlin Legal. I couldn't let another Tax Day go by without being reminded of how much better our lives have been because of working with this team. Highly recommended for not only the professional experience, but the people as well.

I was also contacted through email by two others who saw my reviews on other sites. They too were reeling from the incomprehensible representation of Ms Doran. I encouraged them to review and file with the State Bar Association. The hearing definitely wasn't a win! I paid over $20,000 and had no resolution. Only humiliation. I had to negotiate and present evidence on my own. Opposing counsel expressed sympathy for my situation as she was in the courtroom that day. Not once did Ms Doran attempt to resolve outside of court which, to me, says a lot about her inexperience and disregard for cost. I hate writing negative reviews, but this was beyond a negative experience.

Not quite happy after two years of using Anna Klinova tax filing services…read more First, she is a liar, once it happened when she "Filed an extension" for late tax filing in October. She confirmed that she did file that extension but after few of my calls IRS didn't find any extwnsion. To my several requests Anna ignored all my messages to provide that copy so I ended up paying extra from my pocket. Second time she lied stating that her fees raised to $300 comparing to the last year strictly due to increase in tax preparation software price increase. When I called that software company their maximum increase was $10-$20 for different types of software. Secondly, she is ignorant to customers' requests. Upon finalizing with my 2023 late filing I asked her to send me a copy of my tax return to my email. She is also ignored my requests and any others related to tax preparation or taxation.

Our friend referred me to Kory McConnell. So if you are reading this and are looking for a good divorce attorney, I highly recommend you request a consultation with Kory. He's direct, knowledgeable and professional. And his rates are fair. Two things I really appreciate about Kory is he does NOT procrastinate. He is professional and keeps me in the loop of things. He always returned my calls and emails. Personally, I've referred him 3 times to my friends. One of them needed help with the marriage separation process. Another one was thinking about asking her husband for a divorce. And the third was looking for new representation regarding an upcoming child custody hearing. So, if you are looking for a good family law attorney, I highly recommend you request a consultation with Kory today.

It is the best money I spend every month. I've now started working with Cheri and Kimber for payroll and managing my employee's w2's. **RUDE AND OVERPRICED. They requested I pay $500 for work that I ended up paying another CPA $100…read morefor.** I had the misfortune of dealing with Ms. Suzie, a rude and condescending business representative that made sure I will never be using the services of this firm and its bloated fees. As part of my green card application I was asked by my immigration lawyer to provide the immigration authorities with a letter from a CPA. The letter was about three lines long and required minimal accounting work, which summed up to estimating 2013 annual income based on previous tax return filings. Basically, a work that would take more time to type up than to prepare the "analysis" (which had already been put together by another bookkeeper who had provided Ms. Suzie with the materials and the analysis beforehand). It seemed that Ms. Suzie, too, was well aware of the minuscule amount of work my letter required, since when I asked for an ETA she indicated that the letter could be produced within less than a day. I'm assuming that my question also indicated to Ms. Suzie my pressing need for the letter, as I had also mentioned to her that I was required to submit it as part of my immigration process. Ms. Suzie told me that writing the letter would cost me $500. Yes, you read that right. 500 bucks for three lines and a few minutes worth of work!! At first, I was certain I had misstated to her what the letter should contain and that as a result of that Ms. Suzie may have been under the impression that I had required more work than what was really needed, since surely no one in their right mind would charge so much for such little work. When I called Suzie to inquire about the fee I was faced with a condescending and rude tone that quickly turned into a full on obnoxious and testy attitude when I tried to make sense of her fee (if it was a flat consultation fee, for example, or an hourly charge). Not only did Suzie avoid answering my questions, but she also hissed at me that she "urges" me to "go around and call other CPAs", since she is "sure" that I would get some other firm to write the letter for me for a smaller fee, and that she is "happy" with that. I have no idea why anyone would talk to a client this way, but I sure am not going to give business to this kind of rude customer service. I hope that Suzie's understanding of my immigration status and pressing need for the letter didn't factor into her decision to jack up the price for me. I don't know. But given that she was so reluctant to explain her fee to me I also can't know better. I would like to mention though that I do not know Mr. Wendroff and I have never spoken to him about the fee I was given nor the work I was asking for, so it might be that he was not involved in my request at all. If so, I'm very sorry for giving his business such a bad rating, which is solely based on my awful experience with Ms. Suzie Korth.
