They were great! We had to get a salad quickly to go that was gluten free. They went through all the ingredients with us and we could watch them cook also. 10/10 would recommend read more

Beyond grabbing a loaf, we got a sandwich (the braised pork shoulder) and it was good but I felt like there was something missing! Maybe a crunch or something acidic or salty? The bread was also starting to disintegrate because the meat was wet which made it quite messy. Overall it was a decent sandwich tho!

Also ordered braised pork shoulder sandwich which needed a little more sauce imo but I'm just a saucy girlie, overall still thoroughly enjoyed. Ordered the Flat Salvaje for coffee and liked it! Not when you could eat like kings (greedy greedy kings) with all of the delicious treats at your fingertips. The bakers would bring out trays of hot greasy and buttery treats, some covered in powdered sugar, others glazed with sticky sweet syrup and the leftovers dusted with chunky raw sugar, to the eagerly awaiting hands, mouths and bodies. If you happened to be in the neighbourhood, try one of his medialunas- if you have the room in your pants, try one of the medialunas filled with dulce de leche. If you happen to beat the morning rush and all the locals with their plastic tubs full of treats (and you really really have pants that are just too big), try one of their churros, dusted in chunky raw sugar AND filled with either chocolate or dulce de leche. Of a morning, there are usually no savoury things to be found- unless there's leftover empanadas (or other unlabelled but delicious baked good) from the previous day. If you wait until lunch time, the cabinets will be overflowing with quiches, salad and sandwiches too! Yep, this place wins all the prizes as a one stop shop for all your eats, morning, noon and night!

I had a mix of the tiny ones and I can recommend the strawberry ones, as well as the banana chocolate topped. Anything with dulce de leche is also great. If you prefer something a little drier to have with tea or mate, then the round cookies are your best choice. :) This would easily be my go to pastry at breakfast. Prices are very cheap.

I'm a bit baffled by all the amazing reviews. Tasty? Absolutely. Amazing and mind blowing? No…read more Is it different compared to the local bakery? Yes. The atmosphere, the presentation, the variety and the freaking price tag (easy for you if you are waltzing-in with Argentinian pesos changed from dollars or euro). Pastries are good, but I think better are their bread. The media lunas here are not that great enough to justify for the price they charge. I would come back to get the bread. The service was a bit mixed. The young lady who attended me was in a weird mood with me, only (FYI, I speak fluent Spanish). Albeit a more senior looking staff compensated for her in hospitality. I politely asked the quiche to be warmed up. It was taken to the back, waited a while but only to be given it to me cut in 4 pieces. Not warmed up. Strange experience. But yes.. the bread. Awww.
